How do you balance your relationship with God and everything else in your life? How do you choose the things of God over the things of the world? How do you stand up for Christ in the face of persecution, social agendas, bad influence, friends, leaders? How do you do it!? How do you do!? .... . On top of the Mount of Beatitudes in Israel, I saw this stone on the pathway that said, “Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.” This is the beatitude that is found in Matthew 5:10. Never be ashamed of the Gospel! Never be afraid of the price you have to pay to stand up for Jesus. And if you have to stand alone, stand alone because God is with you!
