What does the word 'success' conjure up for you? Wealth? Fame? Big achievements? Popularity? Power? How do you measure that? By checking how much money is in the bank, how many people recognise you, how many likes you get on social media? What if you don't want to be famous? Does that mean you can't be successful? The dictionary definition of success is "positive result, triumph, favourable outcome, reaching an aim or purpose". No mention there of wealth or fame. What about adding 'sense of wellbeing, peace of mind, sense of achievement, self-satisfaction'. How about measuring success in holding your temper, finishing the housework, parking your car inside the lines, remembering what you went to the shops for, giving someone a hug when they needed it. We each measure success differently. There's no right or wrong, it's personal. Celebrate EVERY success you have (even if it's just successfully removing the wrapper from a mint humbug!) #celebrateeventhesmallestacts #senseofachievement #youareasuccess #positiveresult #thanksforsharingsaorsacoaching https://www.instagram.com/p/Bs8xf2Lndwm/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=mek8ev6amni1
