There have been so many times that I have wanted to give up in my journey. Recently, I thought about who I was when I first moved to NYC 8.5 years ago. I was shy, timid & fearful & really had no idea who God had called me to be & what God had called me to do. I found the City harsh, dirty & overwhelming. I was COMPLETELY overwhelmed & out of my comfort zone! And, there were times - SO MANY times - that I wanted to give up & quit my life here. In those moments when I wanted to give up, I was completely over the struggle of it all & the path forward - to where I wanted to be & what I wanted to do - seemed impossible to get to or nonexistent. Oh, the tears that I have shed & the stress & strained that I have carried in my journey here have been & still are tremendous! But #ToGodBeTheGlory, I did not give up & continue to refuse to give up. God, the Universe & my destiny use my crazy faith to keep me going, trusting & believing in myself, God and my future...!!! Today - though the struggle is VERY much still real - I am SO glad that I didn’t give up! I am SO much different than I was when I moved here 8.5 years ago! I am INCREDIBLY stronger; wiser; better; & more confident; have formidable faith; have discovered and been awakened to know who I am & my purpose, destiny & callings & am still learning who I truly am, a learning that can only come by leaning into my fears, passions, purpose & callings; & there has been such a great physical transformation coupled w/my mental & spiritual ones; & my faith & trust in God & self has grown exponentially! . I encourage you to not give up! Your destiny, God, the Universe & your future self will thank you for not doing so! . Also, I can’t believe who I have become/ing & what I have done/ing!
