1|21|16 - “When Ocean Meets Sky: Cutting Corners In A Circle” • Possibly my favorite spot on the record “You Are Mostly Nowhere”. I’ve always ventured into the duality of songwriting. Minimalist approach with a wall of sound. Later after layer. Pounding stones into sand for the desert. I think my ability to hear the infinitesimal spaces in the song and fill it with something has always been my strongest point. Not to be flashy or do too much to take away from the focused piece. I like it to work as a whole.
