I’m not giving these racists anymore attention so I’ve asked people not to send me links to them stalking me and Shay anymore, but YEP these two people are going balls fucking deep on our blogs to try and “clap back” for being called out as racist and protecting white women.

And all they found was one completely fucking random reblog from ages ago of a joke fic where Sid and Geno were chickens. And they’re not only pretending to take it as a serious fic about players as chickens but they’re genuinely pretending it’s f*rry p*rn. Or maybe they’re furries and it’s wishful thinking idk man it’s so fucking far a reach!

They are genuinely out here private messaging and posting about me reblogging a joke fic to escape being called out themselves. They are spending hours of their actual lives scrambling to cover up being abusive and racist to a black woman and making themselves look worse in the process like?? Just stop??

Just to remind everyone of them being abusive and racist and, hilariously, calling a lesbian lesbophobic so that nobody is under any illusion!

Self-righteous delusion is a helluva drug, my fellow white women. If you start administering it to yourself based on the magnanimous act of following women’s sports then you’re doomed to being a racist dumbass forever.

But to wrap up this shit on a positive note: do not let these asshole gatekeepers on tumblr lead you to believe that going to women’s hockey games or meeting real life fans of woho will be anything like this. Yes, it is sadly very very white and may still feel exclusive for a lot of people. But there are a lot of genuinely progressive good folks I’ve met and some very good intersectionality discussions that I’ve been a part of. And no, no one will try to attack you or kick you out if you also like men’s hockey lmao. Thank god that’s an opinion confined (in my experience) to tumblr blogs.

I grew up with only women teaching me about hockey and for the most part, there has never been the ‘you’re not a REAL fan if’ attitude in men’s sports. Again, I’ve only seen that on here from women mostly because interests are used as leverage rather than participation and inclusiveness. But both my men’s and women’s hockey experience was cultivated by women, as a woman, and for that I am very grateful. But yes, it was and remains extremely white and that is a massive problem.
