Hey, just letting you know that the disconnect between SPN seasons 5 & 6 is because Eric Kripke planned out the whole show in advance. He intended it to be a three-season show, but it was so popular that the studio insisted Kripke extend it to five seasons, so he re-wrote some stuff to make the story last five seasons. Season five was the END, the story was DONE, but the studio wanted more money, so Kripke vanished, and they got new writers to make seasons 6, 7, etc.
OH i knew that, yeah, i mean it's pretty obvious with the way Swan Song is written? But what i was trying to say was: they must've known for a bit before season 5 concluded that there'll be a season 6 and i just think they could've not rushed things so much? NEVERMIND it's not like that can be changed now :)
ALSO guys if anyone of you can explain the role of producers, co-producers and executive producers to me, that would be swell.
