Some people think that seeing a black cat is bad luck. If a black cat is bad luck, then the thing I just saw in place of a black cat must mean that I'm fucked. Which isn't surprising. It was not so much of a black cat as it was a sticky black goo in the general shape of one of those gel-stick-ons for Halloween. Like it didn't even know what a cat looked like.

John, on point. I can't even say it's obvious. We haven't used The Sauce in a while. Or, I haven't. That shit looked like it came from the same source.
"It sure as hell wasn't Fluffy." Fluffy was a randomly generated cat name in Undisclosed. There were probably ten cats named Fluffy in a town with a population of eight. And they probably belonged to one lady who hoarded things and thought she saw the apocalypse coming.
Little did she know, the apocalypse came and left, like some third friend that got sucked into a nowhere land. The Zulu Outbreak happened. Maybe that was a good reason for her to hoard cats.
And so, here we go again. More sticky black goo and things that looked like other things but really weren't. Shit luck, if you ask me.

Burning flesh.
Not something someone smells everyday. Or would like to. Alas, alas. Anytime Dave smells anything remotely similar, all he can think about are the labs, the tests, the experiments, the tubes, the birthing pools, the blurred shaped and muddied voices… He might get lost in his own thoughts and then question if he’s remembering things right.
On a more pleasant note, fake strawberries always make him think about Amy.
Nachos and cigarette smoke make him think of John.

This is a confusing question. Like…IN nature?
David finds water very calming, which is something, given his past (aka his mother trying to drown him in the bath) is odd. The sound of waves us super pleasant to him, though he lives near no large bodies of water. (i mean Lake Michigan is a few hours away but…okay I guess that counts, but when exactly does he ever go there?) He has a bad habit of falling asleep in the bathtub.
Disagreeable? Idk he doesn’t seem to get along with birds, which is funny because of his icon.

Nervous habits? Plenty. He fidgets a lot, mostly with his hands. Either its moving his fingers anywhere from twitching to clenching and unclenching fists or cracking his knuckles or tapping a finger.
He also bites his lib or grinds his teeth, which sometimes leads to bleeding.
His ideal birthday is probably just staying home with the John and Amy, watching bad movies, drinking, and eating horrible baked goods.
Blanket forts may be involved.
