I’m going to wait. I’m going to fight. YOU. ARE. WORTH. IT. The more I think about it, the more bias I become, I’ve always been told that the person who truly loves you won’t ever leave your side despite knowing the worst of you. I won’t leave you now, I won’t contribute to a bad memory. Remember how I’d put cream on your back whenever you felt self-conscious so then I would massage you, that never once bothered me. I love it, I loved taking care of you, taking care of you was like taking care of a big tough teddy bear who has the most genuine heart anyone ever could. I took care of you on the nights you were sick and I gladly would have let myself get sick just to kiss you. I would walk to you even if it took me hours. To see you at softball games - rain or shine, I was so proud watching you from the stands. “That’s my baby out on third base” I would be there. I made my commitment to you a long time ago, I would be a hypocrite if I left you now. We have worked hard and long to ever let something so precious and beautiful go. As I’m typing this…. I know that if it were me taking space you would do the same too somehow. You would fight for me, so I am here and I will be here fighting for you. For who we both know you can be. You’re loving yourself and I respect you tons, here are a couple things I love about you. 1. I love how when you sleep at night you let go of that exterior toughness, you’re so vulnerable and it shows that you truly are a gift to this world. You are very beautiful and gentle. 2. I love how you follow your dreams so steadily and full of hunger, I cannot wait to see how far you will go. I’m here cheering you on from afar. 3. I love you because you never fail to give my tummy butterflies, you know exactly how to put me to sleep at night. A gentle kiss on the forehead gives this love tons of meaning not only because it has been time in the making but because you are human and I never have and I never will expect you to be perfect. I love you so much that I will always clean your nose and take your boogies, it would never bother me. In fact it makes me very happy to take care of you and little visits with those hugs. You been very incredible in every way, and this love would not be like this if it hadn’t been for your countless hours of work and sweetness. Thank you for all that you have done. I will never leave you, not in times of toughness you are very special. You are more than you will ever see. Although this is difficult there truly is nothing that could ever get between us, there’s nothing that has ever made us bad. I love you because you’re perfectly imperfect and you still try to better yourself. We can go nowhere but up. Believe in yourself, believe in us. Believe in all of the possibilities to come. If you ever stop loving me, please let me know. I never want to see you anywhere that isn’t good. I will support you forever. Take your space however long you will be, I still continue to love you more and more everyday. I’m not asking for you, I’m simply excited to see how more amazing it is you want to be. Whatever is easy won’t be worth it. We’re wild and this is a little pit stop.
