Yay for all three of us!! I'm just catching up on the 2nd season now, but really, the Audrey/Duke chemistry is so tangible. I'll be surprised if no one else at least notices it. Just the way he looks at her, UGH! And she smiles/laughs more with him. She looked so broken during the "groundhog day" ep, and her face when she hugged him after she found out he was alive ... sigh. The combination of this show being based on a SK book plus Audrey/Duke makes me love it so much more!

See, in that moment, if I didn’t already ship them? Then I would have. Yes, she was happy when Nathan and Chris were both alive after their deaths but she didn’t rush over and hug them the way she did Duke. They spent so much time putting together amazing scenes with the two of them, building up the chemistry, proving that she trusts Duke more than anyone else does only to…put her with Nathan. It makes no sense to me. It makes even less sense to me when people say she and Nathan have more chemistry. They really don’t. And he didn’t like her from day one like Duke did.

Besides, the Audrey/Nathan goodbye in “Thanks For The Memories” wasn’t nearly that emotional for me (the Sarah Vernon/James Cogan reveal ruined any chance of it being emotional for me and sealed the deal on me never shipping them because, let’s face it, it was a little creepy). But Duke and Audrey saying goodbye? And how quiet he was when he admitted he loved her to Nathan? Like it hurt too much to say it out loud? I was a mess.

Wow, nice to find at least one SK fan on here! I've read a LOT of his books (trying to finish Under the Dome). Didn't even realize Haven was based on The Colorado Kid (which I haven't read) before I started watching. I totally agree with you on Audrey/Duke. I like Nathan, but like the other glee couple that will not be named, there's zero chemistry between him and Audrey! From the first moment Duke and Audrey interacted, I was like: YES! Having a l'il crush on Eric Balfour helps too LOL!

Having a little crush on Eric Balfour doesn’t hurt at all with finding Duke an appealing character. Admittedly, Eric looks better now back than he did ten or so years ago. His thirties have been kind to him. But agreed on there being no chemistry between Nathan and Audrey. I ship them as friends- just like I ship Duke and Nathan as friends.

My mom is a big Stephen King fan (I bought her a new book for Christmas every year for about ten years) but she had never read The Colorado Kid either or even heard of it when I told her about the show. I just got her into Haven and so far she’s enjoying it. She’s halfway through the first season and already sees the chemistry between Duke and Audrey.

Hi there! Are you a Stephen King fan? I noticed that you post a lot of Under the Dome and Haven gifs. I love them both and also a big SK fan! I also kinda think Audrey and Duke are Haven's puckleberry LOL!

I admittedly have only read three of his books (all three of them were read about a decade ago, too) but I am a fan of Stephen King’s stories, mind and creativity (and I’m also very envious of it because, let’s face it, he’s pretty much a storytelling genius). But yes, I do love his stories and I am a fan of Under The Dome and Haven. (Ironically Mike Vogel and Eric Balfour, respectively on each of those shows, both were in the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. From Leatherface to Stephan King inspired shows. Hmm..)

I have to tend to agree about Duke/Audrey. Normally when I ship a couple that isn’t the “canon” couple I don’t like the other male. In Haven that’s not the case. I do like Nathan. I find him, however, boring and just not suited for Audrey. Audrey and Duke have far more chemistry than Audrey and Nathan, and it was pretty obvious from day one Duke liked Audrey. Nathan seemed to only like her when she could feel his touch- which is a whole different story but still. Duke/Audrey definitely have the undeniable chemistry and being a couple that never achieved their potential like Puckelberry had so, yes, I could definitely see them as being similar to each other, especially with the “bad boy”/”good girl” thing.

This wasn't his idea.

And let's face it, when you're dating a girl like Rachel Berry you just sort of go along with whatever she wants because she's so damn cute that you can't say no. 

And that's how they end up with Grizabella and yes he's very aware of how ridiculous the name is.  But once again it was all big brown eyes and "But Noah...she has to be named after a Cats character!" and they call her Bella for short and he guesses that's not the worst name for a cat ever.

So they get her as a kitten, just a day over 8 weeks old, and she's the fluffiest little thing he's ever seen.  He's always been more of a dog person than a cat person, that's more Rachel's style, but Bella sleeps on his chest the first night they bring her home and he's sort of a goner. 

Rachel starts a habit of texting him pics of Bella doing various things, and always with corny little captions that he will never admit that he loves.  He gets one while he's at work; Bella in her lap while she's reading a script.  Another when he's at the pool hall with the guys of the cat asleep inside of her food bowl.  Every picture makes him smile and he always thanks his girl for sending them.

He's about to leave the gym one day when his phone buzzes and he pulls it out of his shorts and sees another picture message from Rachel.  This time it's Bella wrapped up in one of his button downs, Rachel's favorite as a matter of fact.  She's got the cat all wrapped up in it like a blanket and when Puck reads the caption he thinks his heart might jump a little in his chest.

Noah...our little girl misses you and so do I.  Hurry home.

It makes him think that maybe someday those words will be said again, only this time she won't be referring to a kitten. 

So he books it home, because if his girls want him there, that's where he's going to be.

Rachel cheated on Brody AND had unprotected sex with an ex, but people are happy about it. Then again, its Glee so whatever. Not surprised anymore. Id rather watch zombies eating people.

I'm not surprised either. Glee is reusing story lines, because they're too damn lazy to figure something new out. I saw it coming from a mile away and it's just another way to tie Rachel to Finn, because I'm pretty sure they'll come up with some drawn out explanation as to 'how' it's Finn's. She and Brody have been together for a while and live together, so it makes more sense that it would be Brody's, because I doubt Glee is skipping too much time between tonight's episode and the next one... I don't know... It's another fucked up story line in the show and another reason why I don't watch anymore.

Sigh... You know, I really used to love the show... Now I can't stand it.
