Spoiler for Andor ep 9 so you don't have to publish right away but I for sure thought the old man in the prison squad was gonna lose an arm in a very grisly bloody accident while they were working. Glad they went a different direction which was just as impactful without relying on gore and shock value but let me tell you I. was Stressed.

frankly, i thought he was going to be a sacrifice for an escape but this was sadder. he doesn't get to go out in service of something greater, or on his own terms. he dies in a dystopic hell with only kino and cassian there as any comfort. the doctor doesn't care because he cannot care for his own sanity.

what got me was the fact that when the doctor called for a bag and trolley the imperial guard said it was already on it's way. that's dark.

this is what pushes kino. he watches a man he knows is close to being released euthanized rather than treated and learns he's got nothing to lose now because he understands that he's never getting out.

Grocery Shopping with Marcus

Shopping with Marcus means there is always a list, he is too organized not it have one

He is also too busy with work to do multiple trips throughout the week so you guys have one main shopping trip for the whole week usually on the weekend

Since he is always so busy grocery shopping becomes a way you both can spend some quality time together

You’ll be talking the whole time about your jobs, your families or the kids later on, a funny cat picture you saw, future plans for you guys as a couple, etc

As mentioned in my Road Trip HC, Marcus is rather conscious of the food he buys he tries to make healthy choices. The man has to keep up with all his undercover stings and such so he is trying to stay as healthy as he can with what he puts into his body

So he is always loading the cart up with fresh fruit, veggies, fresh cuts of fish. And he isn’t above eating zoodles as a replacement for regular pasta but if you really want regular pasta he caves painfully easily to you

He never ever argues if you slip things into the cart that aren’t on the list

His favorite aisle is the bulk foods section. He is like a kid in a candy store scooping out nuts and spices into the baggies or reusuable packaging you brought with you. He is not going to pay 12x the price for the pre-packaged stuff when the bulk is the same but cheaper!

He also likes buying the whole roasted coffee beans and grinding them at home, Marcus swears that they are better and you have to agree with him

KitKats are his secret weakness and he always grins at you when you grab one for him at the checkout when you snag your own candy of choice

Loading the groceries in the car is its own process. Heavy items all in the bottom and layer any breakable or lighter items on top, its like Jenga for adults

He also isn’t above looking rather silly with 8+ bags looped over his arms when bringing everything into the house

He is always trying to have it just be ONE trip from the car

And you sure as hell know he helps put everything away into the fridge or pantry, the man doesn’t slack with those things and it is just really nice being partners in small tasks like that

Din wasn’t sure how he let this game get away from him. He’d completely lost control of the situation, and he wasn’t getting much in return. Except that he was, in a way. He supposed he’d let this happen. Din could’ve tapped out of the game at any point and you would’ve obliged him. But it was sort of…exciting. He got to choose what to reveal to you, what part of him to bare next, all under the guise of a game. honestly, reading the sneak peak my thought was 'oh wow she's gonna get in between them and the challenger will just like freeze mid-punch bc we do not attack non-fighters like that then there'll be an awkward pause where everybody just freezes because this isn't in the rules and nobody knows how to deal with it' XD
