Kari soon heard the soft sobs of someone and decided to walk towards them. For some reason they sounded familiar. So when she stood there, seeing a younger version of her aunt, she inhaled and quickly took action.
“*hic*...”
The child just.. felt so miserable. So lost, and uncertain what to do. Where even is this? This isn’t her home... Well, it’s not like it matters, anyways. Foster care just feels so alienating, she wouldn’t want to end up there once the hospital discharges her...
Just then, a small, gentle hand touched her shoulder, and she jumped with a gasp before whirling around to see the owner: another young girl, possibly even younger than her. Anxious and uncertain if she meant harm, Kinoko frantically reached into her backpack to search and pull out a familiar looking mini whiteboard. A couple of whiteboard markers ended up falling out in the process, but she just shakily wrote on her board with difficulty as it was soon getting wet.
