Young Dot (Dot Rotten) - Get Outta The Hood
Back when Grime legend Dot Rotten was known as Young Dot, he released the Mixtape 'This is the Beginning' in 2006, growing up it was on a constant circulation on my mp3 player.
Dot Rotten (Young Dot) gained more of a reputation in his early days for his beats, he released a series of Instrumental CD's called 'Rotten Riddims' he produced for a wide ranged of artists, including himself.
This was the stand out track on this early mixtape for me. Very honest lyrics and a typically obscure beat that Dot fans are used to.
