YOUNG-LUV.COM is a terrible album title, but the album itself is pretty cool - STAYC’s best mini-album so far. At first I didn’t like the title track, but that’s because YT sucks (and tbh the MV is pretty lame and the choreo isn’t all that either). It’s now my favorite of STAYC’s title tracks, but I think their previous title tracks are pretty mediocre and a bit cringy. So Bad is very catchy for sure, and ASAP and Stereotype are catchy too, but none of the songs sound particularly refined or cool - So Bad to me is really so bad that it’s good. But RUN2U sounds more modern and mature than their previous title tracks, so I think it’s a step in the right direction. But fans may disagree - because the cheeriness, and even cheesiness, of STAYC’s title tracks made them a GP favorite and also stand out against the other current girl groups.

Anyway, I’ll try to rank all six songs in the album from favorite to least favorite:

It’s a bit hard to rank the songs, actually. I kind of like RUN2U and YOUNG LUV the same. They’re like 0x1=LOVESONG vs. Anti-Romantic for me. I prefer the former, but the latter is very pretty. Though YOUNG LUV actually sounds more like I Know I Love You and RUN2U like LO$ER=LOVER? But why am I comparing these songs? It just came to me. 

The production of the songs is a bit uneven? Like, RUN2U and YOUNG LUV sound the best (YOUNG LUV sounds a bit better than RUN2U imo), and some of the other songs could sound a bit better - like the sound could be clearer? But I don’t know anything about music production so I can’t really express myself properly. 

Apart from 247, I think BUTTERFLY, I WANT U, and SAME SAME are pretty equal in quality, which makes it hard to rank them. I thought SAME SAME sounded a bit more repetitive so I put it last, but it’s a pretty cohesive and solid album overall.

I have no idea what to expect (but does a February comeback eliminate STAYC from the Queendom 2 contestant pool?).
