Butler nominated!
Not only was I overjoyed to have my short film Butler accepted by YoungCuts festival, but am now ecstatic that it has been nominated for the Best Editor award! Well deserved congratulations to Tom Bates
Incidentally, if you happen to be in Montreal on October 19th then please go see Butler, playing in the Best of Youngcuts section, starting at 9:00pm
youngcuts international film festival's grand prix
The whole reason for this trip that I refuse to stop blogging about was Greg PRIME was in the Youngcut's International Film Festival's Top 10 Grand Prix.
Over a thousand young filmmakers entered in this contest, and Greg PRIME was honored to be in the top 10 screening.
The audience loved it. They laughed through out and laughed LOUDLY, which was fantastic for me (I tend to get really nervous during a screening). Some even moaned at the abrupt cliff hanger telling them to view more at gregprime.com. That was particularly fantastic.
I would just like to thank Michael Ryan for accepting us into this festival, and everyone in Montreal who came out for the screening! Also a special thanks to everyone who made Greg PRIME happen but could not be there

On 10/11/12 four of the HARDEST S's OF B's the United States had to offer crammed into a Honda CRV* and drove all night to Montreal. Heralding the first international screening of Greg PRIME at the Youngcuts International film festival.
Border patrol couldn't hold us. Sleep deprivation was powerless to stop us. The Popo didn't even slow us down. Except for the speeding ticket, we pretty much stuck to the speed limit after that. Never the less, we got to the border at sun up, and to the hotel Gouverneur Place Dupuis at 9 am. Just promptly enough to find out we did not have early check in. So we slept in our car for a few hours. * As known as The Great American Killdoser.
Greg PRIME will be competing IN THAT tomorrow?!?!
I am so nervous and excited all i can do is joyously vomit.
