I just watched through the end of season 5 for the first time. I died a little.
I'm really not good at this
I'm no good at saying my feelings about anything, and recently I got engaged and her mother kept asking things like "how can you know you love her? Don't you barely know her?" Well yes, I do kinda barely know her. But let me tell you what I do know... growing up wasn't the best for me, for the sake of time if anyone thinks that only girls/women can be victimized by rape and other such things YOU ARE WRONG and if you disagree you can come to Arizona AND F@#% A CACTUS. But anyway, occasionally a lot, I still have nightmares about such thing because it happened to me, a lot. And I've never really had anything to get me away from that state of mind or the nightmares so I've avoided my home town since I left after high school as much as possible. About 2 weeks after I met Carissa I had one of these dreams and it was so super real to me and I was physically fighting everything around in my sleep because, well, this shit's real. Somehow at about 5AM I text her that I couldn't breathe so she called me, randomly at 5 in the freaking morning cause I needed her. She didn't know why she just called and totally saved me from my own thoughts.
Well I'm here in my home town because my sister is getting married so I'm sleeping on the floor of my brother's room and I keep having these thoughts or flashbacks of my attackers and.. normally I just cower in fear throughout the night, but in this particular dream I had I saw this girl come into my dream and throw my attacker out and come kiss me on the forehead and say that she loves me and goodnight.. Have you ever had that dream where you are watching yourself sleeping? Normally that turns into some freaky ass nightmare for me. But not again tonight. How? I have no idea. But I love Carissa with my whole heart and I have no idea where I'd be without her. Thank for everything Carissa. You mean so much to me. Even if your mother doesn't believe it right now I know we can get through everything, go anywhere, do anything, together. I love you.
