craft video: "And cross stitch has to be done in an embroidery hoop."
me: uhhh. ooops?
More not!plush, but I doodled this while listening to Shark Heart this afternoon.
Why do I have to be so extra sometimes? I decided to commit to 21 days of watercolor for #The21DayProject, but thought, "I should keep them all together!" So I BOUND A TINY BOOK to do my watercolors in.
This is my first ever book binding! Thank you, SeaLemon, for the tutorial! I'll definitely be watching more. And maybe make some bigger books in the future.
You know. I would post here more IF MOBILE UPLOADS WOULD WORK CONSISTENTLY.
Do you know how many times I've tried to upload pictures and I get told "well, that certainly didn't work."
No shit.
I love tumblr and I want to share! Don't fight against me!
Perhaps one day I will make plushies again
(Hopefully soon, I have a new cord for my sewing machine.)
Until then I will try to actually post things that I make because I forget or get intimidated. (It's just tumblr, and I post elsewhere, and people will like if they like. Be chill.)
Here are some simple watercolor dragonfruits! I painted them in my planner! Teacup is in love with dragonfruits, so we finally tried some. Now she "only likes the seeds." 🤣🤣🤣
I used RebelUnicornCrafts's tutorial on Instagram, which was super easy to follow and replicate.
Sometimes I get to test stitch patterns. Sometimes I take cool pictures of those stitches.
This pattern is by @stitch_it_picasso / teenyweenyxstitch, and was a lot of fun to do! I originally started on a black background (the GRIEF it gave me), and I'll (hopefully) finish that one shortly.
My first project completed during The 100 Days Project! I saw this comment in a "vaguely threatening corporate speak" video and couldn't get ot out of my mind. I had to chart it out immediately.
I've decided that (other than this 😅🤞) I'm going to work on WIP from my 100 Days. Hopefully I can work through what I have laying around to make room for other new projects!
