All social networking sites have become a platform for passive aggressiveness and I understand that's what I'm doing now. I might be taking this too personally, but a bunch of people and I changed our twitter avi. I changed it to a picture that I personally thought I looked cute in, and I got 2 compliments on it. I liked the picture enough to also make it my facebook profile picture. But I recently came across a tweet from a girl who, we have had a history with.We both don't like each other and that's why it doesn't make sense for me to be so offended, but I came across a tweet of hers tonight saying that everyone changed their twitter pictures to unattractive pictures. Reading that I was kind of taken back, I don't know if she realizes that it comes off incredibly rude, but it also makes those who read it feel really bad. I know she doesn't like me, I don't like her but it still made me feel bad. It made me question my choice. All in all, I am/was offended. But I remember that her opinion is not more valuable than mine. I shouldn't care what others think. I change my picture to one I like to please me not anyone else. if people like it great, if they don't well they don't have to look at it.
