There were a lot of other things that Sephiroth was wanting to ask about but he didn't know where to find the words. It wasn't often that he was bashful either, this inability to speak was unbecoming of him and Sephiroth hated it.

Walking over to his father, he crossed his arms and sighed, not caring for the outburst. "Quite a bit. Although, there is one thing I would like to ask... If I were not planned to be an experiment, would I still be standing here today?"

He'd only just recently mustered up the courage to ask this question and it was burning through him, setting his nerves on fire waiting for the answer. Sephiroth anticipated it would be a 'no,' or something along those lines. He might even be kicked out of the Science labs for a few weeks.

Either way, he wanted to know. Jade eyes found Hojo, filled with questions, anticipation, and a veiled dread that few ever caught onto.

The envelope was filled with a heavy paper that Sephiroth used for his more personal affairs, this being no different. It was difficult for him to completely understand just what he felt for his father but he knew he didn’t hate him, simply disliked the outer layer. If that.

As I have been informed multiple times by Zackary and a few others, it’s supposed to be Father’s Day soon. The concept of this day as well as it’s frivolities are lost upon me, but I understand well enough what the intentions are.

First, I must say that I know full well what happened during the Jenova Project. The anger that followed goes without saying as I’m certain you’ve since heard of my self-imposed ‘vacation.’ On said ‘trip,’ I managed to come across this object deep within the Northern Crater. I have little idea what it could be used for or what it might be, but the area was undisturbed and I believed it may be of some use to you. 

Consider it a gift, if you will, a small token of appreciation.

It was a short letter, filled with his own flowing script, but it was most definitely from Sephiroth. If one read carefully, it was a strange way of saying ‘thank you’ even for the General in his own awkward ways of showing affection. They were distant, not quite the picture of loving father and son, but it seemed to work for them.

Finding answers

A group of SOLDIER personal appeared back in ShinRa. most looked tired and a few looked like they needed a shower or even a vacation. Angeal was the last of the group to appear in the building. He was busy looking at his phone to watch where he was going. Something on that mission was bothering him and he was looking at the photo that he took.

A damaged SOLDIER

The mission was failed. The team arrived back at ShinRa and headed to their apartments where they could relax and stuff, except one member of the team. Angeal was passed out and was sent to medical. He was the one that took most of the damage and had life threating wounds. Next thing he knew he was waking up in an area to someone that he displeased, Hojo.

Rain is the same height as my OC and neither of them are going to get any taller.

I may or may not have made Rain my exact height just to see where I compare to the canon characters. >.> Even Yuffie is taller than me I need to go sulk now.
