i love rewatching ep 54 of fmab because i think about the little analyses that i’ve seen in the past, noting roy taking off his glove before lowering riza’s gun in the manga (yielding his weapon first)—

and also the bit that someone pointed out about the translation of the manga, where she addresses roy using “anata” which can mean “you” or “dear” snjdjdjddj (not sure if it’s from the same episode, but it’s also one of those emotionally-charged scenes).
