Golduin was born the second child to a pair of naturalist ‘hippy’ parents. Her and her Brother were raised all over the world, wherever something new and exciting was discovered, there they were. Though the natural world never really interested Golduin all that much, though art did draw her in. And while she did not pass her NEWTs with great marks, she did excel in Charms, though when it came to a job to do, she felt nothing fit her, and she left the UK, and went travelling. Not for any plants or life, but where sounded beautiful. And while in New Zealand, she found herself learning the origins of Tattooing, and then began to travel to learn more and more about it, both Muggle and Wizarding.
It is while she is travelling she meets Him (for the sake of the ad we shall call him Joel, but the name will be down to the writer.) Joel was travelling, or learning, or doing whatever he was out there to do. But the two met and fell in love against their better judgement. But when it came time for one of them to leave, they asked the other to go with, but alas they could or would not. I see this as a messy breakup, with tears, anger and promises of never wanting to see the other again.
Fast forward to now, and Golduin is living and working in Brighton, happy though still single. She works, she drinks, she goes out dancing, and that is about it.
Until one day while walking along the seafront, Golduin bumps into Joel, and all those little hidden emotions come pouring out. Are they polite, or maybe do they swear and storm away, or is it one quick shag and then try and go their different ways,
But, we are never that nice to our characters, are we?
Maybe he is betrothed to someone else, but he cant quite quit Golduin? Maybe they just keep bumping into one another, and keep falling into bed? Maybe Joel has been through something so bad that he keeps pushing her away but showing up at her place drunk and wanting her.
I am open to all ideas, and the name, job and back story of Joel is up to the writer.
