Good morning! “Football is football and talent is talent. But the mindset of your team makes all the difference.” - Robert Griffin III
I first want to say congratulations to the KC Chiefs on their win last night. I did not watch the game but I did check the score several times. Sounds like a good game. Now let's talk about mindset. The definition of a mindset is a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines how you will interpret and respond to situations. Now if you are confronted with a difficult situation and never had anyone show you a better way to think about it then you might have a defeat mindset. One where you think it doesn't matter, it won't get better. We sometimes mentally get stuck into thinking like this. We just give up trying. Well, you have just proven that you are correct when you give up. Nothing will get better because you won't even try. Now what if instead, you talk to someone or several others about the problem and maybe, just maybe you can learn a better way of coping. Maybe someone can show you a better way, or at least nudge you into a better direction. Then because you didn't give up, things actually got better. I urge you that if you are feeling defeated please talk to someone. I hope each of you has a good day.
