The best things in life are free so they say. But it doesn't mean that they do not have value. It simply means that they are not bought by money (not cash nor credit card). You do not pay money -- but you pay a price. I have read somewhere that there is a price for everything. It said that the price is what we are willing to give in exchange for something -- it is our way of measuring something's worth -- thus the phrase "If the price is right". And most often than not, price can alter our perception of something. For example, if you want happiness, you cannot always use money to have it. Sometimes, what it would cost you is more time: More time to do the things that you love... more time to spend with your loved ones... more time to spend for yourself. So in this case, the price for happiness is Time. And time (and more of it) is not always free. When I had to face the dilemma of whether or not to let go of something I helped build -- something that I was emotionally and financially invested on, something which I had shed tears, sweat, and blood for -- I had to think hard and long to weigh what it's worth. Monetarily speaking, the price was not right, no matter how the cost was justified. But when I looked into the bigger picture, there is something that I could have in exchange which money cannot buy. Something which is more of value rather than cost. Something which I can ironically say as indeed priceless. And priceless things are the most valuable of all. In this case, it is I who paid the price. But what little price to pay for such a great prize. 😉❤️ #inspiration #yoga #nature #youryogabuddy #backbend #life #fitness #heartmadesoul
