Y Sabai channel interview with P’Bee (the script writer) for many iconic BL series including 2gether, Theory of Love, My School President and now Cat For Cash is worth watching.

Interesting to know the way script writing is done and the final script is tweak to make sure that the main actors full charm is on display.

Also interesting to know the format they used on how to structure “rom com” series. And that the “episode 11” curse (now episode 9 with the current 10 episodes) is true - there must be an obstacle for the main couple to face together before the finale.

P’Bee said they experimented before with no stress (no ‘big obstacle’) for ep 11 with MLMU and Dangerous Romance but the feedback was lacklustre and audience didn’t like it. Hence, why they know viewers feel more keenly when there is something major happening with the episode before the finale.

Anyhow, it’s an interesting interview and worth watching

(He also specifically say that Lynx is based on some characteristic of himself and his relationship with his mom while he’s scriptwriter partner feels more kinship with Tiger)

(Plus he warned us to be ready for ep 9 for #CatForCash)….
