First of all; thank you SO MUCH for the helpful tips to try and sort out the issues I've been having!! I haven't tried anything just yet, but I will soon.

I will try to clear my app's cache today and see if it helps. Knowing my luck I'll probably have to resort to the last resort, but I hope it doesn't come to that. I will let you know in a few days or so if it does/doesn't help! I won't feel comfortable thinking 'it's fixed!' until the app works consistently for a few days in a row.

Edit: Okay, so something weird happened. I went into the app info, cleared the cache but not the storage just the cache, and I just noticed that the 'next video', 'previous video', and 'auto-play' buttons and slider are just- gone?? That's a part of the User Interface though so I don't think I made those go away by clearing my cache. Maybe?? I don't know why the buttons and slider are gone now. I just opened a video on my old phone and the buttons/slider are still there on my old phone's app. I'm so confused.

Edit #2: 32 minutes and roughly eleven seconds into the fifth episode of the GameGrumps' Platinum Nuzlocke I heard and audio glitch in the middle of Dan saying the word 'sandwich'. So, audio bug didn't get fixed and I got a NEW bug that removed the buttons/slider for the next/previous videos & auto-play. I don't know what I'm doing wrong...

Every time a website changes it's ui I am filled with genuine distress and this new youtube ui is fucking horrendous. It's making me really upset like stupidly blown out of proportion upset, but there's no extension to fix it yet and it's apparently been rolling out since july. I don't wanna live with this fucking apple-esq pill design it looks gross I hate it ewwwwww

Pretty much disliking that YT is only recomending me the same videos once again, like, I LOVE FILAMENT FEVER but show me stuff i haven't seen when looking recomendations or in search mode; it's toally pointless if ya gonna make me find something i've watched and has nothing to do with the topic i'm searching for
