That’s okay. I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable. How about another story with Mark and Nimheil?
“What did you do to me/” Mark asked in a panic. He was crawling back into a wall, holding a knife as a weapon. To his credit, the knife seemed to be keeping distance between himself and the creature before him. “You showed up and.....you brainwashed me!”
“I was tempted to eat you,” the snake said casually. “I don’t like you very much.” The demon perched himself on the back of the couch, staring Mark down intently. “The only reason I haven’t touched you is because Darkiplier would have my head otherwise.”
“Yes, you idiot. Jack’s well aware of his egos, how the hell are you not aware of your own?”
“I know about them, but Darkiplier controls you? You’re not one-”
“You’re not the one who created me.” Nim was growing angrier, if his fangs coming into view was anything to go off of. Mark decidedly did not like looking at them, but it was better than making eye contact with him a second time.
“So how do you know Dark?”
“Because we knew each other before you meddled with forces beyond your understanding.” Nim got down off the couch and advanced. “And I’m thinking, Markiplier. You seem to enjoy putting yourself through misery, and you’re pretty fun to mess with, even if you’re an idiot and a waste of space.”
Mark’s heart sunk, knowing what was coming next. There was nowhere to go except past Nimheil, and he’d never make it, even with a knife. “Please don’t....”
“Oh, I think I will. I may not be allowed to eat you, but I can sure as hell play with you.” He crouched before the youtuber, grinning and eyes beginning to pulse. Mark’s gaze was automatically drawn to the pulsing colors.
“Yep, just as I thought,” Nimheil whispered. “Still just a mindless sheep. Now....hold sstill....”
