I heard/read somewhere that, in decibels per gram, the coqui is the loudest frog. Unfortunately, I can't find the source and am not sure whether it is true. Do you know?

I’ve heard this claim, but I think you would have a hard time substantiating it. In most cases field measurements are done in a way that doesn’t allow you to accurately calculate amplitude and consequently we don’t have a lot of data from other species to compare it with.

-when i meet a cat and the cat is willing to be friends

-waking up with the feeling that i can Do Things and be Efficient

-that i found a group of friends in high school who are basically family, that we cuddle, that we put stress on being kind, that i can see how being part of this group has helped individual people be happier and more willing and able to express emotion, that we care about each other so much

-thinking about how amazing fan culture is, especially wrt language and communication

-extra: flowers. the datefriend. the entire terrifying concept of helen/gwenllian/orla in trc. the shade of green made by light shining through leaves outside my window. ♥
