Letting everyone know that cobalt.tools is perfectly legal for downloading Youtube music and videos

Also works on most other social medias (including this one)

It also has a GREAT API, I've written a Python script where you paste in a playlist link and it downloads each individual video as an MP3

hey just wanted to give everyone some cool tips on pirating music :3

took like a gazillion years for me to figure this out for myself when my spotify premium subscription ran out for a little while so i wanted to share with anyone who doesn't know!

you can download songs to your phone and/or computer on ytmp3 or spotify to mp3 and then access and play them using VLC media player (which you can download on your phone and/or computer).

sure, its a pain in the ass to download all the songs you like, but once you do that, your phone can functionally be used as an ipod with all of the songs your heart desires, no ads, skip as many songs as you want, make playlists, etc. 💞💞

since ytmp3 is riddled w popups now and similarly shit websites show up when you google, pls consider using yout for your mp3 conversion needs (it also does mp4)

Anyone else notice YouTube to mp3/mp4 converters as a whole going downhill lately? Not working unless you download an app or pay, putting anything above 360 behind a paywall, not doing videos over certain lengths (sometimes to a ridiculous degree, like not doing videos over ten minutes,) that kind of stuff?

It even happens with things that used to include certain features. I've had Y2Mate for about a year and it used to be that you could download videos that were like, two hours long, 1080, no cost. Now you can't. Anything over 360 is behind a paywall and longer videos more often than not just don't work. Like, this downgraded.

Has anyone else noticed stuff like this or am I going crazy?
