One thing i adore about music is the nostalgia that comes with it. When you listen to a song for the first time, it comes with shivers down your back, and it makes you feel something you haven't ever felt before. When you listen to that song again, the memory of that feeling comes flooding back. As life moves on, the distance between listening to that certain song may grow farther apart, but each time you go back to that song more and more memories rise to the surface and it leaves you with that feeling when you listened to that song for the first time, along with this aching and longing in your heart to go back to whatever good times those memories held. It's strange how music has an emotion of its own, but I'm thankful for that. It makes it all the more meaningful.
