Around 640,000 tonnes of fishing gear is lost or abandoned worldwide each year, accounting for around 10 percent of all marine litter. Hace dos años nos vimos por primera vez.

Llevaba creo que algo cercano a una década pensándote, imaginándote, aprendiendo de ti.

Al llegar a donde habitas, sin vernos, sentía que me llamabas, que querías pronto mostrarte calma, magnífica, con gracia.

Primero me presenté ante tu casa, bella, extensa, profunda, y llena de mágia y misterio. Luego te vi, ya no por medio de una imagen digital o un dibujo, sino real, presente en el mismo espacio de tiempo, de frente a mis ojos, que no tardaron en llenarse de lágrimas para verte con más brillo aún.

Me acompañaste a ver el cielo más estrellado que haya visto jamás, apreciando sin lugar al parpadeo, la Vía Láctea. Gracias a ti entré a tu casa de noche, bajo una completa oscuridad, experimentando la luminiscencia de tu alimento. 

Gracias por existir y motivarme a dejar los miedos, las dudas.

Te amo. Amo tus alas, tu cola, tus ojos, tus barbas, tu aleta que se joroba.
