the apartment was quiet when yuma got home.
you heard the front door open, followed by the soft shuffle of his shoes against the floor, and looked up just in time to see him standing there in the hallway.
his hair was messy from the wind outside. hoodie half-zipped. cheeks slightly pink.
and the second he saw you, he smiled.
small.
immediate.
like finding you there was enough to make the whole night settle properly.
“hi,” he said softly.
you smiled back. “hi, baby.”
he stood there for another second like he was deciding something.
then he walked straight over to the couch and quietly climbed into your space without a word, curling up against your side.
you laughed under your breath as his arms slipped around your waist.
“tired?”
“mhm.”
“did you drink a lot?”
he shook his head against your shoulder. “just enough to miss you extra.”
your heart gave the tiniest ache.
yuma sighed softly once you wrapped your arms around him, like he’d been waiting for it all night without realizing.
for a while, neither of you talked.
he just stayed close, cheek pressed against your shoulder while your fingers played with the ends of his hair.
then quietly:
“i kept thinking about coming home.”
you looked down at him. “yeah?”
he nodded once.
“i think my favorite part of going out is getting to come back to you after.”
the way he said it was so simple.
so honest.
like it wasn’t even meant to sound romantic.
you felt him shift slightly closer after saying it, like he instinctively wanted to hide from how affectionate that sounded.
“you’re being really cute right now,” you teased gently.
“no, i’m not.”
“you literally just said your favorite thing is coming home to me.”
yuma went quiet.
then he tightened his arms around you a little and mumbled into your shoulder:
“…because it is.”
you completely melted.
a quiet silence settled after that, warm and heavy in the nicest way.
then suddenly, yuma tilted his head up and stared at you for a second like he’d just noticed something important.
“what?” you laughed softly.
he didn’t answer.
he just looked at you with that sleepy, unbearably fond expression for another second before one of his hands slid up gently against your cheek.
then he leaned in and kissed you.
slow.
warm.
the kind of kiss that lingered before it even really started.
you could still feel his small smile against your lips, soft and sleepy and completely full of you.
when he finally pulled back, he stayed close enough that your noses still brushed.
“…there,” he murmured quietly, like he’d been meaning to do that since he walked through the door.
then he tucked himself back against you again without another thought, arms tightening around your waist like coming home to you was something his body already knew by heart.

Yuma flinched at the sudden bang of the door slamming shut, the sharp sound echoing through the apartment. His brows pulled together almost immediately - because you would never close a door like that. A strange unease settled low in his chest as he pushed himself up, the feeling growing heavier with each step he took toward the living room.
He slowed when he reached the living room- only to pause in surprise at the sight of you by the door, slipping off your heels.
"Baby?" he called, voice laced with confusion.
Your eyes snapped straight to him, wide with shock- because you didn't expect him to be there at all. That only deepened his confusion. He took a step closer, his gaze softening as he noticed the reddened cheeks, and the slight damp beneath your eyes.
"You were home?" you asked, shocked.
"Yeah, I told you I got a leave, baby." he said gently, a small frown forming as he stepped closer.
"What happened?" he asked softly.
You let out a breathless laugh, sounding too light.
"Nothing happened, Yuyu… God, I'm so sleepy… can I take a shower." you said, suddenly moving with a burst of energy, but the little sniff you left didn't go unnoticed by him. Yuma's frown deepened quickly.
"Yeah-yeah, sure." Yuma said,stepping aside.
He watched you pass by him, his gaze lingering for a second long, a quiet guilt settling in. He wanted to reach out, but you deserved your space too.
He let out a quiet breath before turning away and went to your shared bedroom. He remade the bed and adjusted the AC, making sure it was just the way you liked it. Then he headed to the kitchen, set the kettle on and began making tea.
After a few minutes, he heard soft footsteps padding into the kitchen. He barely had time to turn before he felt your arms slip around his waist from behind, your touch warm and familiar.
"Thank you so much, Yuyu." you murmured, voice soft.
He stilled for a second, then relaxed into you, one hand coming down to rest over yours.
"It's nothing, baby." he said gently, glancing over his shoulder. "Do you feel better now?"
"Yeah baby…" you said softly, your grip tightening just a little. "If it's okay…, can we cuddle for a bit? Please?" He turned in your arms, cupping your face carefully, his thumb brushing beneath your eyes.
"Of course. Come here." he murmured, his voice warm.
He took your hand without a word, his fingers warm around yours as he guided you back to the bedroom. Once inside, he let go briefly to close the door behind him, the soft click settling into the quiet.
You moved ahead of him, slipping onto your side of the bed, then turning slightly - hands reaching out for him. Yuma couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle, gaze softening at the sight.
"Needy huh?" He teased, though there was nothing but fondness in his voice as he walked over.
He lay down beside you, one arm slipping around you as he gently pulled you closer. You shifted easily against him, resting your head on his bicep while his free hand came up yo softly pat your hair, slow and soothing. You tangled your legs with his, pressing yourself as close as possible. When your eyes fluttered shut, he leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to your forehead.
“Do you wanna talk about it, baby?” he asked softly, his fingers tracing slow, absentminded patterns along your arm.
“About what?” you mumbled, tilting your head up to look at him, your expression innocently confused.
“You know what,” he murmured, brushing a loose strand of hair away from your face, his touch lingering just a second longer than necessary.
Your expression softened as it clicked, the quiet understanding settling in. You didn’t say anything right away - just shifted closer, resting your head against his chest, right over his heartbeat. It was grounding.
“I just had a bad day,” you murmured.
Yuma’s arm tightened around you almost instinctively, his chin coming to rest lightly on the top of your head.
“Yeah?” he said gently, his voice barely above a whisper. “Wanna tell me what made it so bad… or do you just want me to hold you for a bit?”
You stayed quiet for a moment, your fingers lightly gripping his shirt.
“It was just… a lot today,” you murmured, your voice small against his chest. “Everything kept going wrong. I kept messing up even the simplest things. And my teacher…” you hesitated, swallowing. “She wasn’t even trying to be mean, I think-but the way she said it just…It made me feel so stupid.”
“Like no matter how hard I try, it’s just not enough,” you admitted quietly.
His arms wrapped around you a little tighter, one hand coming up to cradle the back of your head, pressing you gently into him.
“Hey” he whispered, voice soft but firm. “Don’t say that.”
“Isn’t it true though?” you said, your voice trembling as tears pooled in your eyes. “I can’t even do the small things my classmates do-”
Yuma cut you off gently, leaning in and pressing a soft kiss to your lips. When he pulled back, his gaze was the softest look you’d ever seen resting in his eyes.
“You don’t get to say that,” he murmured, his thumb brushing away the tears slipping down your cheeks. “You do things right most of the time and only have a few bad days.”
“And that doesn’t make you not good enough, baby,” he added quietly.
“You’re one of the strongest women I’ve ever known. And no, I’m not just saying that” he said, his voice full of sincerity.
He cupped your face gently with both hands, thumbs brushing softly over your cheeks. “Look at you… handling everything on your own. Doing each and every thing by yourself- your studies, your work… literally, you’re the one keeping us balanced.”
His eyes softened, unwavering. “And you do it all, every single day, even when you feel like you can’t. That doesn’t make you weak.”
“And do you know what?” he continued, his voice full of emotion, brushing a loose strand of hair behind your ear. “I’m so proud of you my baby, being so responsible, handling things no one else could. But… you will never have to carry anything alone, okay?”
His hands held your face tenderly, thumbs tracing small circles over your cheeks. “I’m here, always.”
He leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead, letting the warmth of his presence settle around you.
You felt tears prick again, “You really mean that?”
“I swear it, baby,” he said, his voice firm, unwavering.
You melted into him, letting the weight of the day finally lift.
Wrapped in his arms, with his steady heartbeat beneath your ear, this overwhelming day, the mistakes, the doubts-all seemed to vanish.
“I love you,” you whispered, your voice muffled against his chest.
“I love you too, baby,” he murmured back, tightening his hold just a little, promising that he’d always be there-through every bad day, and every good day.
i know this is not the perfect fic or anything its so dull but yeah idk😭💔 yeah i do NOT like this at all
It was 7:45 and EJ waited by the school gates. And waited. And waited.
Students streamed past him. Some greeted him and some waved, but the person he was looking for never appeared.
His eyes kept drifting toward the road expecting to see you but you weren't showing up.
Eventually, he checked the time. It was now 7:58 and he had exactly two minutes until first period. If he didn't leave now, he'd be late. And EJ was never late. With one final glance toward the entrance, he turned and headed inside.
---
When EJ entered the classroom, Yuma and Nicholas were already there. Yuma was leaning back in his chair and Nicholas was sat behind him, scrolling through his phone.
Both looked up when EJ walked in.
Normally, EJ would've greeted them, made some comment or at least acknowledged their existence.
Today?
Nothing.
He walked straight past them and sat down. The silence immediately felt strange.
Yuma slowly turned around meeting Nicholas's eyes. Nicholas looked back. Neither spoke but both were thinking the same thing.
Does he know?
---
A few minutes passed and the teacher still hadn't arrived.
EJ took this opportunity and reached for his phone , instinctively opening your chat. His thumb hovered over the keyboard and he was about to message you . Then he stopped.
The realization hit him immediately. Your phone. You never collected it yesterday so you didn't have it.
Slowly, EJ lowered his phone.
Just as the teacher entered the room , everyone returned to their seats. The lesson was about to begin. Then EJ raised his hand.
The teacher looked surprised. "Yes, EJ?"
"I have a question."
The teacher nodded. "What is it?"
EJ hesitated briefly and then spoke.
"I don't think y/n is coming in today."
A few students glanced up including Yuma and Nicholas.
"I don't think she collected her phone yesterday either."
The teacher thought for a second and then nodded. "Oh, you're right."
EJ continued. "If nobody else is collecting it, can I hold onto it until she comes back?"
The teacher didn't even hesitate. "Of course."
Several students looked jealous. Nobody else would've been trusted with something like that.
The teacher walked over and placed your phone on EJ's desk.
"Make sure she gets it tomorrow."
"I will."
EJ carefully slipped it into his bag.
---
Back at your house , you were in bed.
Despite the amazing Job EJ did cheering you up yesterday , you were still just not ready to be back at school.
( author's note: just incase it's not clear , you still have no idea that it was Yuma and Nicholas that pulled the stunt in the storage room. Only EJ does. You still don't know anything about why that happened which is why you're just distancing yourself)
When your parent came into your room and asked you why you weren't going to school , you simply said that today, your class was given work to do from home.
Luckily for you , they bought the story. I mean why wouldn't they. They're just as new here as you are so how would they know what goes on in your new school.
When you realised that your phone was still at school , you considered sneaking out to go get. However , your life isn't a movie. Your parents would've caught you and whooped your ass.
You made yourself some breakfast, took it to your room and opened up your laptop to watch a new drama series you started. Atleast if someone came in , it would've looked like you were doing work.
---
Two hours later, back at school, the bell finally rang. It was break time.
Students immediately started leaving class but before Yuma or Nicholas could move ,EJ stood up then turned around to face them.
"Come with me."
Both Yuma and Nicholas froze. The tone alone was enough to make them uneasy. Still they simply followed.
---
The rooftop was empty and that was exactly what EJ wanted. There were no students or teachers. No interruptions.
The door shut behind them and for a moment, nobody spoke.
EJ turned around to face the two and the look on his face immediately told them this wasn't a normal conversation.
"Why did you do it?" Ej asked.
Yuma pretended to be confused. " what do you mean?"
Ej rolled his eyes ," You know what I mean Yuma stop playing dumb. Yesterday the both of you came out of the building late and were acting weird."
The two boys gave eachother a side eye before Nicholas spoke up.
"If you want to say something just say it. We don't have time for these childish riddles "
Nicholas started walking off before EJ spoke.
"Did you or did you not lock y/n in the storage room yesterday?"
Nicholas stopped in his tracks and moved back to where he was before. He rolled his eyes.
"So what if we did. What's it to you anyway?"
EJ looked at both of them with disbelief written all over his face.
"Do you have any idea what that did to her ? Or how she looked like when I found her?"
Yuma swallowed nervously.
"She was sitting on the floor. Crying. Shaking. She was left there alone in the dark and she thought nobody was coming. "
The words hit harder than either expected and EJ's voice grew sharper.
"When i saw her , she was so scared she couldn't even talk."
Yuma immediately looked down. A horrible feeling settled in his stomach.
The rooftop fell silent as neither boy knew what to say.
"We didn't know." Yuma finally spoke with his voice quieter than usual. "We just wanted to scare her."
Nicholas turned to him and hit his shoulder, "Bro."
EJ stared at Yuma. "Congratulations."
The sarcasm in his voice was brutal.
"It worked."
It had hit Yuma that this wasn't funny anymore. It wasn't some harmless prank done out of jealousy or a joke. It was real and somebody had gotten hurt.
"This whole conversation is fucking pointless." Nicholas scoffed. "It wasn't even my idea anyway."
Just like that , Nicholas walked off and shut the rooftop door behind him.
Now Yuma was left alone with EJ and he knew he was about to get all the fire. Especially after Nicholas' last comment.
However, EJ simply stared at him for what felt forever before walking off and leaving Yuma there by himself.
"Shit"

"when are you going to stop?"
"stop what?"
"this. all of this."
he scoffs. "what makes you think I wanna stop?"
the room lay quiet and empty, dust particles floating through the air, the florescent lights flickering overhead. the masses had already vacated a while ago, leaving only you, yuma, and the sour taste of defeat to wallow in. there was no clock but you could only assume it was hours past midnight, when the night had first started.
he sat in one corner of the ring, back against the support, arms laying down his sides, looking up and squinting at the lights. his gloves had long been discarded beside him, soaked in blood, sweat, and a constant reminder of his losses.
"you're gonna get yourself killed," you catch yourself, but it was too late, "or at least seriously hurt."
you slowly unravel the deep brown wraps around his hands, the blood having already dried up. he winces when you tug at a piece that was stuck to his skin. muttering a soft sorry, you reach for an alcohol wipe and begin cleaning the built up grime along his arms.
"why are you still here?" his question echoes around the room and into your head, where it continues to bounce back and forth.
after a moment, you mutter, "because the only reason you haven't died yet is me." you toss the dirty wipe and grab a fresh one, reaching to wipe his neck down next. "if I weren't here, you would've been outta commission long ago."
you notice his throat bobbing while you cleaned around his jaw and exposed collar, now littered with fresh cuts still oozing blood and deep purple bruises that looked like they'd take weeks to go away. he angles his gaze away to give you more working room but also because he couldn't bare to look you in the eyes. you pretend not to notice, but you chuckle at the small pout on his bloodied lips.
"shirt off." your command rings cold but gentle. this had already become a routine for the both of you, every other friday night, you'd tag along to another one of his matches, praying he wouldn't get as beat up as the previous time. of course, that prayer was never heard by anyone that cared enough.
"why do you even put this back on after the fight?" you ask absentmindedly, a part of you genuinely puzzled as to why he would even bother to put on a shirt when he was too worn out to even walk properly.
yuma parts his lips but no words leave them. "because I hate it."
"hate what?"
he takes a deep but shaky breath. "how I look. I feel…"
his breaths turn shallow, "…I feel small."
your hands stop their routine movement just so you could stare at him, really look at him. "you're so stupid."
his eyes search yours, looking for something he doesn't know himself.
you take one scan of his torso and notice a large cut, larger than the ones sprinkled all over, on his shoulder.
"christ, yuma, we might have to get you stitched up again this time." you try to clean around the gash as much as you can, minimizing the sting and trying to hurt him as little as you could. "how did this even happen?" you mumble, a tinge of annoyance in your tone. "how do you let them do this to you?"
"leave it." he looks at you before looking down at his tired, calloused hands, "just leave it. I'll be fine." his jaw is clenched, eye still avoiding yours.
"you're hopeless, you know that?"
he doesn't respond. he only stares at your hands methodically working at his wounds.
you pull his gaze up to yours, your fingers under his bruised chin. "if I were to leave you right now, you'd be back within three days tops, maybe four if you manage to cook something."
he rolls his eyes and lays his head back against the padded post, a soft chuckle shaking his being. "is that a challenge? I'm sure I'll survive."
"no it isn't. I'd rather you not burn yourself again on the stove." you lightly smack him on his cheek, "don't think I can spend another week helping you wipe your ass."
the corners of his lips curl into a small smile, the best he could muster with the skin on his face red and sore. the feeling of your hands dressing his wounds calms him, brings him back down to the ground, tethering him to the quiet of the moment.
he carefully reaches his hand to your cheek, fingers grazing your skin so lightly it feels no different from a small gust of wind. his hand is trembling, too tired and weak to move gracefully, but it's enough, enough to express the thoughts running through his head. thoughts of shame, shame that he carried with him every day, lodged in some dark crevice in his mind, regret, regret that he couldn't do better for you, that he couldn't give you the life you deserved, doubt, doubt about whether he was even enough for you, about much longer you'd bear to be by his side, and hope, hope that whatever cosmic force or hand of god that led you to him in the first place would remain strong enough to hold you close to him.
"you're not small." you take his hand in yours and hold it steady against your cheek, leaving a small kiss on his palm. "you never have been, and you never will."
yuma forces a lump down his throat.
"don't leave."
his words beckon you for an answer but his eyes don't push you.
you lean forwards, close enough to smell the sweat, blood, and grime on his skin. the scent of fresh antiseptic stinging your airways. yet, you don't pull away. you brush the tip of his nose with yours, and rest your forehead against his.
"never."

second episode will be up soon (if you want to be tagged let me know!)
ep 1 ⋆゜☂︎⋆゜ep 2 (coming soon!)
it started off as a common september morning.
as you crossed the endless corridor leading to your office, you could smell coffee scent spreading in the air, and hear the muffled sound of serious conversations escaping the meeting rooms.
the pressured atmosphere due to the new publishing season was palpable, it was always a hectic time of the year.
the company you worked in as a creative director was one of the biggest publishing house of the country, your coworkers were constantly saying this to whoever wanted to hear it.
no fail was ever admitted, especially not right now.
you spent all weekend wrapping up a project that you had polished on for months. but as soon as you finished it, another one was already waiting for you.
there was no time to rest at the moment.
it was exhausting but you loved your job, being able to adorn someone else’s story to put it out into the world was what you always dreamed of.
contrasting your sophisticated look, hair pulled back in a tight bun and burgundy business ensemble, dark circles started to form under your eyes, as an evidence of your late-night hard work.
you grabbed a coffee from the staff lounge and headed straight to your first meeting of the day. you only knew that it was about the new project that you will have to supervise.
you entered the usual u-shaped meeting room and sat at the closest seat next to the door.
as you set up your notebook and laptop, a familiar face seemed to emerge in the blurry background.
a straight nose, full lips and a slim profile.
you raised your face and your heart skipped a beat.
it was yuma, sitting right in front of you and talking with your superior.
you’ve known him forever, but now it felt like you were facing a stranger.
he had bleached his hair, making his face look brighter. his snaggletooth, a trait that made him so unique, disappeared. he looked more serious in his black suit, but softer than before.
you tried to collect yourself, but got lost in a constant whirlwind of thoughts.
how were you supposed to act? it was the last person you were expecting to bump into at work. was it a part of the team for the new project? how will you be able to work with him? after all the anger and disappointment that grow inside you over the years?
yuma and you grew up together. your mothers were best friends and decided to buy houses next to each other.
during your childhood and teenage years, you’ve lived everything together, from the loss of your first milk tooth to your graduation ceremony.
never there has been a lick of ambiguity between you. or at least that’s what you wanted to think.
in the summer succeeding your graduation, you experienced your first heartbreak. at that time, yuma was the only one there to console you. he was there to wipe off your tears and let you cry on his shoulder.
seeing him so caring and attentive made you realise you had fell for him long ago. only, it was not that simple to admit. he was not seeing you that way.
no. definitely not.
everyday he would ring at the door, asking your mom how you were. he would spend entire evenings listening to you cry about how much you hated your ex while you were curled over his knees. from time to time, he would gently caress your hair, reminding you that he was still there for you.
one day, as you were walking in the park (he had convinced you to go out for a bit as you were staying all day at home), you realised it for real. he was twirling to make you laugh in the pathway and your mind was shouting to yourself that you loved him.
but you could not resolve yourself to confess to him. you were too scared. and then, within the blink of an eye, it was too late.
yuma got into a relationship next summer. later, he moved out of your hometown to study in a design school of great repute, while you stayed there, distraught and powerless.
from that moment, calls became rarer, as well as his visits. there was no real goodbye, but you haven’t seen him for six years.
after realising you lost him, your felt your heart ache in a way that never did before, not even during your first break up.
not having him into your life never was a possibility.
how have we ruined this? you used to think. you were furious against yourself for letting this happen.
since then the world had lost its colours and sparkles.
your eyes met yuma’s for a split of seconds, you grasped a hint of surprise before he looked away and carried on his conversation.
while you waited for the meeting to start, you pretended to be very busy with your notes to not cross his gaze again.
‘here is our new hire, nakakita yuma,’ finally announced the director, pointing at your old friend, ‘an outstanding graphic designer, who will be in charge of the visuals for the next release. you will all work together for the next three months, so i’ll let you some time after i explain the project to get acquainted to each other.’
during the director’s speech, you struggled to focus on what he says as your mind’s constantly goes back to yuma. at the end of the meeting, everyone walked towards him, holding hands, asking questions. on your side, you tried to catch up on what you missed about the next project with your colleague jessica.
‘where have you been all this time?’, she asked.
‘it’s just… i’m tired, i barely slept this weekend and…’, you stopped talking as yuma seems to be heading towards you.
‘hi y/n,’ he uttered.
‘hi yuma,’ you answered, taken aback.
‘do you know each other?’ jessica inquired.
you looked into each others eyes. yes. you knew each other more than anyone else despite the years that separated you.
wc : 699 … angst, miscommunication/ghosting, hurt no comfortable, yuma is lowk a jerk here
a/n . . . I was a bit unsure when writing this, I feel like it’s so bad lololol, but I did write this base off my situation with someone lol it lowk hit close to home (◞‸ ◟)
It’s been days, almost a whole week and yet he still hasn’t replied to any of your messages. Better yet, he hasn’t even read them. All day, you’ve been waiting like a fool, like a dog circling around in front of the door waiting for its owner to get home. You felt stupid, like a clown, like you’re just set up for a comedy show. The despair you felt as another hour passed by, you were getting desperate. Desperate for him, for even a single word, for this relationship to work out.
Before he changed and everything went downhill, Yuma was actually the sweetest guy to you. Long paragraphs greet you whenever you wake up, constantly checking up on you, random late night calls to fill the loneliness you felt. You sat here in your bed, always replying to someone on screen, to him. You thought you’d be capable of love, capable of someone loving you. Maybe Yuma could’ve filled the emptiness you had in your heart.
It wasn’t long till he started distancing himself away. You weren’t sure if you were part of the problem or he was too busy to make time for you. But you didn’t push it, if he was so busy, of course you didn’t want to bother him. As time goes on, you start to notice changes. How he would take days, weeks, and even months to answer you, worst that you only got a few words in return. You guys barely had a proper conversation in months, you were spiraling. No more calls from him, not once did he check up on you, no efforts from him at all.
You start to question if you were part of the problem. Replaying every single moment, was it something you said that made him pull away? Something you did? Or maybe he wasn’t interested from the start and you were to blind to realize that.
It was obviously a shocker when Yuma called, yet he didn’t even answer any of the messages you sent, no warnings before he decided to call. You felt wronged, nervous, and some excitement. Your heart jumped at the tone, finally accepting the call with shaking hands. You weren’t even sure where to begin, what should you say? Maybe a greeting? Maybe confronting him? Before you could say anything, his voice came through the other line.
“Hey? You there?” He asked. His tone was laced with boredom, that you can tell. He sounded absent, lacking engagement. It’s no wonder why he called, he was bored and needed company, why else would he think about you if not to cure his boredom.
Throughout the rest of the call, you completely broke down. You were embarrassed, cringing at yourself, was this man really worth crying over? You had questions and you wanted answers, it’s tiring having to put up with his behavior, like you’re the only one contributing to this relationship. It takes two and you were only one person, this isn’t something you’re supposed to handle on your own.
Time passed as the call continued, you weren’t sure how long you’ve been pouring your heart to him, or if he even cared about it. Tears continued to roll down your cheeks, your eyes were red and puffy. It hurts, you could barely keep your eyes open, your head is throbbing from crying. This is so embarrassing, but before you can continue, he interrupted you.
“Listen… I get that you’re hurting but I seriously need to go. I promise I’ll make it up to you yea?” He spoke softly, his voice was so gentle, it almost sounded genuine. With that, he hung up before you could have the chance to argue back. You guess he really didn’t care as much as you hoped.
Two whole years of effort wasted. Months of you trying to fix this relationship, to fix and change yourself for this man. He didn’t even bother calling back after that, were you seriously surprised? You finally decided to let him go, and that was the best decision you had made in a while. Moving on isn’t going to be easy but at least you’re putting yourself first this time.
