Been working on a fairly big mass attack since the beginning of the event as well as some promo artwork for a bud of mine, but here’s an excerpt of some things I’ve done so far! Click “Keep reading” for credits and more fun details!

Friendly reminder that Peach is canonically supposed to be about 6’1, very likely even taller because we don’t know her exact canon height. Do with this information as you will. 😭🙏
This is a question I get so, so, so much across all platforms LOL. Now whether a friend or moot, anyone who knows me knows I’m far too canon-compliant for my own good to where I’ll go whatever lengths I can to make that happen.
So importing models directly ripped from the game into Blender, I calculated Geno’s height down to the last pixel using Mario’s official canon height (5’1) and Peach’s universally accepted height (about 6’1) as reference points. I even got two possible different heights, you cannot make this up. Hit “Keep reading” to see the methods to my madness, now let’s get this show on the road!
TL;DR by measuring his height by two different points of his head underneath the hat, absolute bare minimum, he’s about 5’6. HOWEVER. Based on observations and some pixel measurements from in-game cutscenes that I did on-call with some buds a while back, while models aren’t always consistent he’s shown to be roughly at Bowser’s shoulders so I’m more inclined to believe the second measurement I got at 5’10, and I place him between roughly 5’9 - 6’.

Artist’s block is hitting me hard and business has been slow so here’s a surprise piece of fan art I cooked up in an hour of an adorable Mario OC I stumbled upon by chance. As a frequent flyer of the Mario yumejoshi community (iykyk), this gave me inspiration to keep going and I hope this makes her day too if she sees this. 🫶
