Yumi is the fucking boss
She is the strongest Yoki-hijo, more invested than Elantrians (who are so powerful they can be major villains that shift the politics of entire planets by themselves) and Returned (who can heal any wound and are literally worshipped as gods by some on the planet they hail from). She can force Nightmares to heel and destroy a machine that entrapped an entire planet all by herself. She canonically had her soul sucked out of her body and went “actually, dying is cringe” and came back to life and there was nothing the machine could do about it. She stacks rocks so accurately and with such great precision that she can make them taller than buildings. She can force Painter to confront the parts of himself he refuses to face.
