These French fries are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, making them the perfect snack or side dish for any meal.
Ingredients: 4 large potatoes. Vegetable oil for frying. Salt to taste.
Instructions: Peel the potatoes and then cut them into strips of the same length and width. This will get rid of the extra starch. Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes. Use a clean kitchen towel to dry the potato strips after you're done cooking them. In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350F 175C. Fry the potato strips one at a time for five to six minutes, or until they are crispy and light golden brown. Take the fries out of the oil and use a paper towel to pat them dry on a plate. While the fries are still hot, sprinkle them with salt. Put the French fries out hot with your favorite sauce to dip them in.
