I really recommend the book Who Will Run the Frog Hospital? by Lorrie Moore (ik the title sounds weird, but honestly this book is a treasure that more people need to discover - it totally has that 'theres something dangerous about the boredom of teenage girls' vibe) but maybe its just me that thinks its amazing.
