Welcome to Yuritopia!

I made this blog because I started reading too much yuri manga on impulse, so I’m gonna review it!

I’ll be making an effort to cover factual information that might affect your desire to read something (like the gender of the mangaka, and ages of characters) in addition to presenting my impressions and opinions.  If there’s any detail or content warning you want me to include in my reviews, just let me know!  I’ll post something giving a detailed overview of my review format soon.

A note on focus, I’ll do my best to read/cover a lot of works about adults.  Yuri is a genre dominated by schoolgirl stories, and while I definitely enjoy schoolgirl stories, I expect some folks are more comfortable reading about adults.  Don’t worry, there’ll still be lots of schoolgirls though!  I’ll also be making an effort to cover stuff that’s a little more serious tone-wise, but I’ll still be covering lots of lighthearted stuff too.

Everything here is a work in progress right now, so the theme’s a bit of a mess.

Expect reviews of Citrus, After Hours, and Prism in the next few days!  Also Kindred Spirits on the Roof, but just the game for now - I’ll have to do the manga and drama CDs eventually.

I’m also reading Bloom Into You and Octave right now, so expect those sooner or later, though Octave started stressing me out a little so it might be a bit.  I’ll probably review the Citrus anime once it’s done airing - though I could do an in-progress review if people want.

If there’s something you’d like me to review, just toss me an ask and I’ll take a look into it.  No promises though.
