hey I have a question about yuts midoria if you don't mind me asking. what would he be like as a pro hero all grown up? super creepy eyes in the back of his headish or would he reach peak creep in high school and mellow out?

I’m pretty sure his creep factor would mature and gain power alongside the rest of Izuku’s skills. He’s only gonna meet more ghosts, more murderers, more people he can’t save. He knows what his strengths are and he’s going to refine them like a high-grade alloy. You think high school Midoriya is terrifying? That shit’s gonna enhance with every year he gets older.

OKAY BUT IMAGINE!!! flying YUTS izuku but it's that one scene from the upcoming star wars movie. *nana and tensei hoisting izuku in the air*. Twice: "AAHHH HE FLIES NOW" Shigaraki: "HE FLIES NOW???!?!?" Dabi: "He flies now."

I was thinking more along the lines of that meme image of the guy running down a hallway while a shadowy figure T-poses menacingly in midair behind him.

Wait. Wait. In YUTS, ghosts can physically move Izuku around, even when they’re not supercharged. Ghosts can also fly/float. Could Deku fly with ghostly assistance? Like, Nana on one arm, Tensei on the other, and Rei supporting his feet, confusing the hell out of everyone

I realize that the implications of the last ask also mean that an unconscious or injured Deku could be rescued by his ghost buds, but the flying image was cooler in my head 2/2

Hi, I'm a great fan of all your works. Especially YUTS. Thanks for the good work, I deeply respect you. I have a question: if Quirks are like muscles, and the more you use them, the more they develop and get stronger, if he din't inherit OFA, was Izuku going to be able to conjure at least 1 physical spirit? Because I can totally see Izuku as THE Leading Cold Case Expert in the World: solving murders and letting the victim say "bye" to their loved ones. What do you think about it? Thanks in adv!

Yeah I think Izuku could have exercised it and unlocked more applications on his own. It never would have been on the same scale as he can with One For All, but I think he would have made it as a hero on that alone.

If Aizawa had died, would he be able to retain some Quirk use like how Rei can? What rules surround what Quirks are available to ghosts as well?

Yeah, pretty much all ghosts retain their quirks to some extent. Mutant and transformation quirks are weird because ghosts technically don’t have bodies anymore. But for emitter quirks they retain a very muted version of their quirk. Going full poltergeist might strengthen it, as would the amplification aspect of Izuku’s Psychopomp quirk. Temporarily empowering ghosts with One For All would strengthen them even more.

That said, they are ghosts and dead, so even with that empowerment, their ability to leave last effects on the physical world will always be weaker than if they were alive.

46) I really loved your xxx fic. If you were ever to do a sequel, what do you think might happen in it?

Ohhh gosh. I guess it’d be a future fic where they’re all pro heroes, and YUTS Deku is establishing himself as Terrifying while his agency’s PR representatives look on in long-suffering patience.

Hullo Pit, I just had a thought about YUTS: considering the fact that cats can canonically see ghosts, it's entirely possible that one of Izuku's ancestors had a cat quirk that had the side effect of letting them see ghosts, and as generations passed that quirk eventually morphed itself to just being a ghost sense (which might explain his eyes as well)
