Hiya. You know, the weirdest thing happened right at sundown, today. I fell asleep right on the spot. I was lucky I was two steps from the bottom of the steps, or I might've snapped my neck. I actually only woke up something like half an hour ago. But that's not the important bit right now.

Look, I'm not spiritual or religious. I don't really believe in the supernatural. I was tempted not to do anything, but I've got just enough paganism in my family tree to know that Samhain starts at sundown on Halloween. And what I saw in my dream... I can't just say nothing at all. Too many coincidences, and what happened was too awful.

Suffice it to say, I saw, among a lot of other things, myself, tied to a chair. I had done... something, or made some mistake, or something, there wasn't any harm intended and I didn't realize it was bad, it wasn't even bad morally, just a stupid mistake, but. Well. The torture convinced me I'd made an awful mistake pretty damn fast.

It has something to do with acid, or poison, or something, and it's not "your" version that's at the worst risk, per se. That's just about all I know. Hope that was useful somehow. I'd like to politely request you keep that possibility from happening. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need some damn brain bleach.

Halloween has always been the night of strange things happening, yes. Yet, the fact that you state to not be a believer in the supernatural and yet have a lot of entity related issues is quite puzzling.

I will attempt my best to keep a close eye on Troublemaker and protect her. As for Yu, I cannot do much other than keeping my eye on her as well.

@easterlingwanderer made a mistake in asking me to draw Mairon with his kids because he has SO MANY!!! 

I had to do a little collection of just a few of them to save myself from that amount of kids XD

Laurëa & Curumìriel: - His two eldest daughters, though only Laurëa inherited any of his maiarin powers. Curumìriel is more like their other father, aka @first-son-of-finwe ‘s Fëanor.

Vokun, Yuvon & Suleyk: - His three eldest children with @thedragonunderthemountain ‘s Smaug. Vokun, aka the strongest, is the only female. Yuvon and Suleyk are both male. 

Tempest: - Y’all know him by now - he’s the most famous of Mairon’s children after all. The son of him and @masteroftheseas ‘s Ossë. This is his strongest child, hands-down, given his heritage. He has TWO maiarin parents, and so Tempest is his only child that is a full-maia.

Seemingly normal-ish life at first, apart from the letters, worked yourself down to the bone and didn’t sleep enough. Rai.

Entity tries to sweet-talk other side, strikes, leaves you severely injured but functional, becomes active in letters to taunt the “audience.” Me.

Entity strikes again, all seems lost, an entity deus ex machinas you out of there and a new at least partially friendly entity appears. Lis.

Oh. Oh, fuck me backwards. That’s... a coincidence. Right? It’s got to be. Humans are hardwired to see patterns, even where there aren’t any. It’s an old holdover survival instinct from when we needed to figure out what berries were poisonous and whatever.

I wonder how long entities have been around...

Well. Anyhow. IF it’s true, then we might be able to figure out the vague shape of your near future. Maybe. But if so, your near future is going to SUCK.

I am quite much aware of my free trial of peace. Well, somewhat. Maybe free trial of violent entity freedom is more suitable. Although, I am convinced a full recovery progress will take time still. Not months, but I am sure some weeks.

There's no necessity for you to pay attention to my group. Before things went down I was capable to put distance between us.

It feels relieving to hear Clover has no vile intentions, at least not completely. The word neutral still leaves space for despicable actions.

Whether those similarities underlie a coincidence or not, I'd leave up to your judgement. I have never encountered those people (or entities) before, so a coincidence may be the most logical answer in my eyes. But you are closer to the topic.

Your question is an interesting one. I'd like to add to that: Does the time entities have been around vary from universe to universe? I am doubtful every universe is of same age, so why would the existance of entities be.

I have not been expecting a good future for myself anyway.

I hope you and Jake will find a satisfying answer.

(An envelope falls to the ground. It doesn't contain a letter, but an audio is stored inside. The first voice you hear upon opening the envelope sounds inhumanly distorted.)

"Look at you, my sweet." A brief pause. Struggled breaths are audible in the background. "Nothing? You disappoint."

A hoarse, dry female voice responds. "Hells bells, you're annoying."

Roaring laughter. It sounds the same as back when Flower attacked ReMorse.

"You're pathetic, a failure. Too ignorant to notice Yuvon's signals for help, but copying her speech. Domino, you stupid, stupid little thing."

"Her name has become one of your fav—" A fit of coughing, followed by several sharp inhales interrupted the sentence.

"Only some days here and your shape is worse than I calculated. Delightful, but I want to have more fun with you. They really hate you, hm?"

No response.

"Oh, there they come!" The distorted voice sounds excited, "Drink as much of the water they'll douse on your beaten face as you can, dearest Fay, you won't get any more today"

❓ Phil's case/proving innocence

Well, this is quite difficult to say according to me.I think releasing Phil would take us to put more effort. Since at the end of ep8,we all suspected Michael Hanson and we acted so rashly without a second thought😶.And we know Phil was arrested because of Michael.

What I'm trying to get at is😅, we don't know what the police would find as evidence in that house(and I doubt if they'd find something👀) or what sort of accusation they have on Phil. If that so called reason for arresting Phil was related to "Richy missing",he may be released then.

Or if it's other than that, like related to Amy or Jennifer, I think we have to fight a little harder for his freedom.If that's the case,then there'd be another episode we have to wait for that to happen 😕 ( I think we'll find a solution to release Phil in ep9 but we won't be able to execute it immediately,I mean we'll do it in ep10 but I will be definitely wrong here too😆)

Dear Diary,

There are no case (or chase) related updates I can give you. I'm only here to tell you about a strange occurrence before I return to my work.

This morning a fair amount of pain brought me out of sleep. Upon checking, I found the words "eldritch abomination" burned into the back of my shoulder.

The way it looks, my entity is not fond of me. Although, I doubt I did something worse enough to be called an "eldritch abomination", so riddle me that. I'm still questioning myself whether I should laugh or feel offended.

I promptly had to think about the incident with Yuvon and the Inkling as well. Thankfully, I was spared from the comatose part.

I'm starting to consider that, maybe, Black Ink is indeed capable to meddle with my timeline and I underestimated its might. Not only I, but Yuvon too.

Yuvon also voiced unknowingness about Inkling's recently sent recording. I find it quite strange, up until now I thought Inkling involved her in everything. Everything concerning letters, at least. Why would that change so suddenly?

To add to that, I also think BI would attempt to somewhat test me (if it truly had a say in this timeline). It would also confirm my pneumonia theory. I wonder, was it actually a test? If yes, for what? To see how far I'd push myself, to find out where my mental and physical boundaries are?

I'll figure it out, eventually. Those questions are none of my current priorities. Yeah, that's it for now. Just wanted to let you know.
