I love the “OCs + TVTropes” thing, but my giffing skills are nonexistent, so here, have a character page.
I’ve lamented before about not having the Cinematic Tools, and when the opportunity came up, I gave Yvaine to the wonderful, wonderful @nikashepard / @design-is-thinking-made-visual. I left mods and so on at nika’s discretion, wanting to see what she’d do with my favourite snarky mage. These are the results!
Hello, new screensaver! These aren’t even all of the beautiful shots (nika also provided some gorgeous closeups and panoramas) but here, have some Yvaine being badass, in my favourite DAI armour for her.
These shots are perfect inspiration for while I’m writing about her adventures. The eye mod is perfect; those brows are gorgeous, and that colour is beautiful - otherwordly and magical. She really does look like she’s connected to the Fade (and I can now see how in an AU she’d be Gal’s sister). I keep sighing and looking at all the shots with a silly grin.
So yes, nikashepard is a genius and I’m very grateful.
Thought I’d mess around in the Black Emporium and do some character evolution stuff, mainly to sort out headcanon. I think Gal’s is most startling. Look at that buzz cut! I can hear Dorian cackling from here. And Gal would probably glare at me.

Kosh knows what works for him, and he sticks to it. Has since early adulthood, really.
