Despite being almost exactly the same age as George Lucas' film franchise, Heavy Metal hasn't participated in too much Star Wars mania over the years (with Rod Kierkegaard's "Rock Opera" being an exception). Which makes this cover of our French predecessor Metal Hurlant a bit surprising. No doubt about it, that's C-3PO bursting through the door with a bloody axe and a sack full of chopped-up children.
