The sobs were loud. An image of a girl on her knees, arms wrapped around another's leg crying and begging for her to stay. Jinsol was pathetic really. She couldn't stand the thought of losing Sooyoung, it was such an awful thought to her. She'd do anything to get her to stay.
"Plea-.. Please don't go." She looked up at her, tightening the hold around her leg as she stared up at her with a pleading look. "I'm so sorry please Sooyoung... Please." Jinsol knew she messed up, she didn't mean to truly. It was an accident.
She was sensitive, Sooyoung had said she understood her but apparently she didn't, or at least that's how Jinsol saw it. She was too needy for her and she didn't want her anymore, that's what she saw, and she didn't know how to react. If she could, she would go back and act better.
It wasn't her best moment, crying and yelling about how she didn't care about her, absolutely refusing to even think of listening to the other girl's words trying to comfort her that she loved her. Jinsol noticed the irritation in her rising, the way she was trying to stay calm and collected in the face of Jinsol's outburst. It wasn't an easy thing to deal with.
Sooyoung couldn't handle it forever though. She mentioned how maybe they weren't actually meant for each other and that she couldn't be what Jinsol truly needed, and it flipped a switch inside her. She couldn't lose her. She was basically a part of her, losing her would be like losing a piece of herself and Jinsol knew how badly it'd turn out.
So she'd beg, she knew it was a pathetic display to be on her knees like this, but what else was she supposed to do. She didn't know how else to show her devotion to Sooyoung, to show she'd do anything. Jinsol just hoped Sooyoung truly loved her enough to forgive her once again.
The sniffling was obvious as she desperately tried to stop her tears, even if it was meaningless to try "I'll- I'll be better! I swear! I'll do anything you want, anything. Just... please you can't leave." Her eyes only filled up more as she mumbled the last bit.
Sooyoung had been silent since she had dropped to her knees and grabbed onto her leg, originally being too shocked to speak and then just waiting to let her say everything she wanted to say. Her hand went into Jinsol's hair, petting her head as she sighed with a small smile. "Let go of my leg puppy."
The moment she spoke, she did what she was told, her arms dropping to her side as she crumbled to sit down on the floor instead of being on her knees. Sooyoung soon crouched down to look at her before softly laughing "Poor thing... You know i'd never leave you right? You need to get better at listening." Her tone was clearly condescending as she spoke, her hand still ruffling Jinsol's hair.
"I love you Jinsol. I keep telling you that but you just don't wanna hear it. Are you gonna listen to me now?" There was a quick desperate shake of her head, gaining an even bigger smile on Sooyoung's face as she continued "Good. I care about you puppy, more than you could imagine. You just need to trust me, okay?"
There was another nod before Jinsol quickly jumped up into Sooyoung's arms, desperately wanting the comfort of being held by her. Maybe she still didn't fully believe her, but it was enough belief to be good enough for now wasn't it? Jinsol hoped so anyway.
A small thud was heard as she slightly fell backwards and hit the ground from the sudden weight in her arms, she was glad she had crouched to be close to the ground. Sooyoung sighed, her hand continuing to go through Jinsol's hair as she mumbled "Dumb dog..."
