This trip to a new dimension through the transdimensional portal test was supposed to be more discrete than Amelia's last trips. She was given a pair of blue jeans and a rock band tee shirt to wear instead of her usual jumpsuit. Also, she had a backpack now to hide her Ap-Sci gear. 

Already on the other side, Amelia was astonished by the huge buildings around her. There were so many teenagers, but why? Was this some kind of school. She saw a boy with dark hair ahead of her and hid the portal device in her pack, then set out to ask where she was. "Excuse me, Sir!"
