HII, good afternoon!! I hope your having a wonderful day! I been meaning to ask a request, you don't have to answer it if you don't want to! Can you do YYH of the main cast (+ Jin, Koenma and Botan!) Of this one comic I found. Like how they react, how they feel, and would they let it happen again? It's this one!

I divided the headcanon into two parts: second part is here.

U. Yusuke

At first, after you ask him, he'll act like a boaster, saying something like: "Oh? You want to kiss me so much you make up games like that, dear? All you had to do was ask..."

Nevertheless, after receiving the first kisses, which he'll have reciprocated with passion, squeezing your hip with one hand and cupping your cheek with the other and hugging you tightly at the end of each one, he'll start to be a little overwhelmed, and in the end he'll arrive almost in the same state as the man in the picture

In fact, with a racing heartbeat and a red face, he'll collapse on the sofa or a chair, with his lips and cheeks all covered in lipstick or lip gloss smears, almost completely inert

It'll take him some time to recover from your "assault", and even the following days he'll continue to think about you and your kisses

He would definitely do it again, but he'll have to admit to be a little uncomfortable asking you, so he'll try a more... indirect approach: for example, he'll bring up the topic in the most casual moments ("Ne, (Y/N), how about you give me some kisses afterwards? Don't worry if you still have your lip gloss on!" "Yusuke, you're in the middle of a fight, do you think it's appropriate to bring up a topic like that?!")

K. Kazuma

He'll immediately accept your offer to kiss him with a different lip gloss or lipstick each time: after all, they'll be free kisses, so why would he refuse?

Every time you two kiss, he feels his knees buckle and his heart beats twice as fast as normal, so imagine his reaction to a flurry of twenty kisses in the space of a quarter of an hour!

He'll be literally identical to the man in the picture: he'll reciprocate the first kisses with passion, but then he'll start to blush and cover his red face with his hands out of embarrassment, and he'll also have to sit on the sofa or on a chair because his legs will no longer support him standing

He'll definitely want to repeat the experience, and he'll even buy you a hundred new lipsticks to convince you to do it again (seriously, stop this guy before he squanders all his savings to buy them for you)

"(Y/N)-chan, could we do the lipstick test again? We've a few new ones to try, and last time we didn't even find the perfect kiss-proof one, we absolutely can't leave this problem open!"

Kurama

He'll look at you curiously when he sees you bring a huge amount of lipsticks and lip glosses to the table in front of the sofa and look at him with hopeful eyes

Then he'll chuckle, shaking his head, after you make your request; he'll sit on the couch and look at you expectantly

Every time you kiss him, he'll smile sweetly on your lips and hold your waist; if you expect him to show some embarrassed reaction, you're very wrong because, if there's anyone who will be embarrassed, they'll be you

At a certain point Youko might take over him; he would aggressively squeeze your waist and growl possessively at your kisses, which would become much less chaste than Kurama's ones

If you want to try it again, he'll let you, but he won't be the first to ask to do it again; the most he'll do is buy you more lip gloss or imply he wants to ("Awww, thanks, love! How did you know I was missing this color?" "I remembered it from when we did that kissing experiment. By the way, don't you think the color looks good on the skin? Would you like to try it?")

Hiei

As soon as you propose him the experiment, he'll answer with a firm no: "Absolutely not. What's this other human oddity? Do you really have nothing better to do than invent stupid things?"

However, after your endless pleas, he'll give in to your request, also because it'll have actually intrigued him a little, only he won't have wanted to appear too enthusiastic so as not to undermine his reputation: who would ever have feared him anymore if it had been known he was hanging from your lips for your kisses?

In fact, he's crazy about them and, every time you kiss him, he'll deepen the kiss, holding you possessively

He'll really like the taste of your lipsticks and lip glosses and with every kiss he'll lick and suck your lips, ruining the experiment ("No, Hiei! This way the experiment doesn't make sense!" "You're already forcing me to do it, at least let me do it my way...")

Did he like it? Yes. Would he do it again? Absolutely. Would he ask you? Absolutely not, he has a reputation to uphold

If you didn't know, the saying "to hang from someone's lips" (pendere dalle labbra di qualcuno) is an Italian saying which means, among other things, showing deference and submitting passively to someone.

“ jin, you’re a smart fella. be as brave as you were in our fight and do something soon about your girlfriend, yeah?”

“ ready for round two, now i am!” jin exclaims, “ if you’ve got anything else left!” he continues as he stands in a fighting pose, ready for the next attack.

you gasp seeing him run towards jin, clearly he wasn’t in a state to fight. you quickly run from wherever you were watching, using the wind, your speed and your demon energy to guide you to the plateau jin and his opponent were fighting on.

his opponent, souketsu, fires up and starts sprinting — ready to throw a punch. just as his fist is about to make contact with jin’s face, souketsu stops? “ hey referee! i think the kid’s comatose!” souketsu yells out to the referee watching over them.

running over to them, you hear from koto, the main broadcaster, “ jin has passed out! eyes open, right where he stands — that is dedication! no one competes with this youngster’s enthusiasm!”

koto declares souketsu the winner, eliminating jin from the tournament just as you reached them. souketsu was about to pick up jin when you stopped him.

“ wait up!” you call, “ i can handle him.” you sprint over to jin, patting him on the head. “ you did so well.” you whisper, giving him a slight hug as you try to bring him up.

souketsu raises an eyebrow and smiled, “ now who are you?” he questions, “ and let me carry the kid, least i can do to make up for the ass kicking.” souketsu says, taking him onto his shoulder while jin murmurs, “ no! still beat him, i can..”

“ you’re lucky jin, this could have ended much worse for you.” souketsu says, before turning his attention back to you and your concerned self. “ now answer me.” he continues as he walks off with the two of you. “ you the kid’s girlfriend or something?”

“ n–no, i–i’m his friend.” you answer shyly, looking away from him with a blush on your face at being called his girlfriend. it was quite clear you liked jin, at least to this millennium old demon. “ so, why’d you go all this way, and quite quickly might i add — for a friend?”

“ i–i just care a lot about him okay? and it just so happens that i learnt how to heal others along along side him learning all his wind stuff whilst we were growing up.” you explain, “ oh so, you’ve known eachother since childhood, hm?” souketsu asks, seemingly interested in this friendship the two of you have got going on.

in no time, you, jin and souketsu reach a safe and private ground, away from everybody else and he sets jin down, letting you use your energy to heal him. jin was still knocked out cold and his injuries would take a good bunch of energy to heal, it seems like he really did get a good hard beating from souketsu.

as you start healing his wounds, souketsu once again questions, “ do you like the boy?” the question caught you off guard, making you momentarily pause the healing to try and stable yourself.

“ n–no way! like i said, w–we’re just friends!” you deny to him, clearly there was something more — and either you or jin were stupid, or you both just didn’t want to admit there was a romance between your close friendship. or who knows, maybe even a little bit of both.

souketsu sticks around, watching on how quickly your powers heal him — it’s clear you’re quite powerful as well, no ordinary healer would be as swift as you were. in no time, jin regained his consciousness.

as jin awoke from his small nap, he grins as he sees you — not noticing souketsu watching. “ y/n!” he giggles as his ears twitch in delight, pulling you into his arms and his lap. “ jin! you big idiot, you had me really worried there!” you whine, throwing punches at him which, of course, had no effect on the wind master.

souketsu laughs at this interaction, just friends huh? he calls bullshit. “ thanks f’healing me up again, i needed me a good bit of rest!” he giggles to you before turning his face toward souketsu, “ good match we had there, i admit ya crazy strong!” he grins — it was almost like he had no more injuries, most if not all the pain from the battle had been healed by you.

souketsu agrees that it was a good match, and then before he walks off, he teases both of you, “ you two are a nice pair, just friends eh?” which make both of your faces red, as you agree just friends.

he grins smugly at the denial, laughing as he walks off, “ jin, you’re a smart fella. be as brave as you were in our fight and do something soon about your girlfriend, yeah?”

both you and jin watch as he walks off, shocked at souketsu’s words. however, it doesn’t take jin long to burst into a fit of laughter. jin’s laugh makes you quite the bit more flustered, “ oh shut up!” you complain, hiding your red face into his chest.

jin hugs your waist, grinning at the close proximity. “ well that was weird!” he teases, “ yeah really? i couldn’t tell.” you answer back sarcastically, now leaning back from his chest and staring at his eyes.

the eye contact was reciprocated and jin smiles, “ he’s right though.” jin’s words surprise you, ‘what is he planning?’ you think to yourself. jin hesitates for a second, before repeating what souketsu said in his mind — a nervous smile gets placed onto his face and his ears twitch before he leans closer to you, pulling you closer to him through your waist — and he gives you a peck on your lips.

well, about time. took him really long to make a move, huh? very quickly, that small peck turned into an actual kiss — one where you weren’t shocked and you were actually able to return it — and then another, and then another kiss. at some point, you both finally pause the kissing as you realize, “ jin, kurama’s gonna fight the next battle! don’t you wanna watch?” you point out to him.

it’s like a lightbulb turns on in his mind as he remembers, “ oh yeah! we betta’ go now then, hm?” he grins, still sort of flustered from what you both just did. it was his first kiss, after all.

you smile, about to stand up when jin carried you without warning. “ jin! i can walk!” you protest, but technically it’s not like you were trying to make him let go. you look away, flustered, as he uses the wind to bring him back to the others.

whether or not you both were official was not decided yet — even though you two acted like you were dating for years now — but it was fine, it’ll be figured out in time. now it’s time to focus on the tournament.

at that time, touya was with the others — which was odd to them since touya finished his match after jin, but jin still wasn’t back. anyway, they weren’t worried, they knew he was with you. both you and jin quickly reach the others, and thankfully, at this point he had stopped carrying you. they greet him, along with lines of comfort saying he did very well. after a bit of interrogation on where he was, the group of five started to tease the two of you on just what could’ve happened during the period you were gone — and at some point, yusuke joined in on the teasing as well. what an eventful day it was so far.

I'd love to see Yusuke with an injured girlfriend. Perhaps during a tournament she happened to get hit or pushed someone out of the way and got hit instead. Ty! 💖💖

You went to watch the  dark tournament, you were worried sick about the boys, but more specifically Yusuke, your stupid and troublemaker of a boyfriend.

As you sat there watching match after match you grew worried about yourself, Shizuru and Yukina as well. A lot of debries were flying your way, alas no deadly things on your way yet.

On this fight Hiei and the mysterious fighter were out of the scene due to a scheme. You were lived, it was not fair! Kurama, Kuwabara and Yusuke were handling all by themselves.

Kurama and Kuwabara were in pretty bad shape so Botan went to help them out. So that meant Yusuke was fighting the leader of the opposing team a guy named Jin.

Much like Yusuke you got frustrated whenever he went up to the skies - that should be consider out of ring right? Right? But the referee said it wasn't, much to your dismay.

You noticed it was going to be rough for Yusuke, Jin had both a solid attack and defense going on there and Yusuke was a little tired from the previous fight.

As Yusuke got that first punch on the face you got on the edge of your seat. The fight went on and honestly? It was hard to keep up, those two were fast! At least Yusuke seemed to be having fun.

Eventually Yusuke seemed to have a plan to win. He launched a very powerful attack toward Jin, the youkai was sent flying off or did he pulled away again? This trick was so very annoying!

Soon you heard the noise of something falling and Shizuru rushing you and Yukina away from your seats, Shizuru went ahead followed by you and Yukina. You grabbed the frail girls hands and marched after Shizuru's lead. As the three of you were close to leaving the roll, Yukina tripped, out of reflex you pulled her to you to shield her and pull her away.

The roof where you three were at collapse, but seems like you were not fast enough on getting out. A piece of debrie ended up rebouncing and hitting you on the head, on the moment you shielded Yukina from her fall.

You were knocked unconscious for a few moments, you woke up to Yukina gently holding you head on her lap, but you were very dizzy and a little aloof:

Yukina: Y/n! Y/n! Are you ok?

Shizuru: Hey, Yukina, can't you heal them?

Yukina: Yes, but I need them to be awake to be sure they are fine!

Shizuru: Damn, Y/n!

Y/n: I... I, huh...

Yukina:!! You are awake! I am sorry for causing you such harm!

Y/n: It's... It's fine.

Shizuru: Don't worry Y/N, will get you on top notch shape soon!

Shizuru balanced you on her back and started to head to the hotel room you guys were using.

Yukina tagged along, trying to talk to you the whole way so you wouldn't faint again and to keep you thinking.

As soon as you all reached the room, Shizuru placed you on the couch and went to grab some ice for you. Yukina started her healing routine on you, which at this point you were a little more yourself:

Yukina: Y/n, I am so sorry! Because of me-

Y/n: Hey, it's ok. I will be fine soon, you are here right?

Yukina: Yes, but...

Y/n: Then I will be fine!

You tried to lift your head and a throbbing headache stopped you on your tracks:

Yukina: Please stay still! You got injured badly!

You could feel your hair sticky and you were a little light headed. You lost track of time while Yukina was caring for you. You noticed Shizuru standing close by and grabbing whatever the girl asked for, she would often ask how your head was doing - they didn't allow you to close your eyes for a minute. You heard a knock and saw a familiar face: Botan entered the room, she was looking for Yukina to help heal the boys. When she found you there, injured too, she causes a little ruckus:

Botan: What happend? Y/n?

Shizuru: A debrie fell on their head.

Yukina: it's all my fault. If I-

Y/n: It's fine, I will heal.

After a little discussion Yukina agreed to leave you on Shizuru's care, you seemed to be better so she could help the fighters a bit. You felt guilty that she wasted some precious stamina healing your head wound:

Y/n: Sorry, because of me you used some of your energy...

Yukina: It's ok! It's the least I could do for you, you saved me after all!

Shiruzu sighed heavely:

Shizuru: You do know she is a high level Youkai right? I am sure she can do a lot more than just one patient at a time.

Yukina blushed a bit and mumble something about not being that powerful. But it made an awful a lot of sense what Shizuru said. Botan rushed Yukina out after this to aid the boys.

As you were chatting with Shizuru about nothing at all, you suddenly heard the door swing open - Yusuke was back and very worked up:

Yusuke: Y/n? Y/n? Are you OK?

You braces the pain to sit up:

Y/n: Yusuke! I am fine it's nothing!

Yusuke: Nothing? Yukina told me what happened!

Y/n: Yeah and she healed me so I will be fine!

He rushed to kneel beside you to see and talk to you. At this moment Shizuru excused herself to smoke.

Yusuke: Let me see your head!

Y/n: What? No, go heal yourself first, you are a wreck!

Yusuke: I am suppose to be a wreck, you are not!

Y/n: I am fine, really.

Yusuke: Maybe you should go back. You got hurt just watching me...

Y/n: No! I want to be here with you!

Yusuke: Be with me from there! You know, in spirit!

Y/n: You are ridiculous!

You huffed and as you did your head throbbed a bit, which made you flinch:

Yusuke: See? Not ok!

Y/n: Oh bite me, I am fine!

You crossed your arms and looked away from him, puffing your cheeks. You heard him mumbling a thousand curses and something about you being stubborn. He got up, which made you think he was going to leave, but to your surprise, he didn't just leave.

He leaned over you, caging you on the couch and left a sweet kiss on your forehead. He got up and said you were " his stubborn idiot, so you should heal soon". With this he left.

You were surprised and as red as tomato. You didn't have time to call him back again, you wanted to hug him and smack his head, he always made you worry so much with all this fighting!

Then, it hitted you: did he win the fight? At this thought you called out Shizuru and turned a little too fast, causing another pain rush:

Shizuru: Take it easy now. What is it?

Y/n: Do you know how the fight ended?

Shizuru: Seems like Yusuke won.

Y/n: Ah I see...

You smiled. Of course he did, that's Yusuke after all! Upon seeing your smile Shizuru didn't leave it cheap:

Shizuru: Worried much about the lover boy that you forgot about the match?

You flushed and spoke really fast:

Y/n: No! I mean, I was worried is just, I didn't had time to ask - he left and he got annoying and-

Shizuru laughed at you:

Shizuru: That's so cute! Thought, I could barely catch a thing you said.

You ruffled your hair and said she was grabbing some more water for you. You puffed your cheeks again, but soon, you smiled. A soft smiled, the memory of his face and how he worried for you made you so soft.

The lingering feeling of his kiss on your forehead was there too. He has a weird way to show his love to you, but you appreacited it nonetheless!

Boy, how much you loved that idiot. He could be rude, love to fight and get into trouble a lot, but he was kind and loving too!

Shozuru returned to see you smiling a bit, she, once again, poked at you:

Shizuru: Are you seeing stars or hearts fluttering?

You rolled your eyes, this was going to be a long day. You couldn't wait to see Yusuke again, hopefully soon when you got better or he came around to see you.

In the end he appeared to see you again. This time you got to give the hug you so wanted a while ago. He just laughed and held you tight. No words. You didn't need to say anything for now.

Soon, though, his true nature as a lover of affection will come out, even if he'll die of embarrassment and pretend it's not true if you point it out to him

In fact, he'll often rest his arm on your shoulders, discreetly holding you close without even realizing he's seeking physical contact; moreover, he'll never admit it, but he'll melt if you caress his hair

In addition, when he's tired after a fight, he'll unconsciously become even more affectionate and often use you as a sort of pillow, lying on your thighs

Absolutely no one should ever find out about his love for cuddles, especially his friends: Kuwabara would never let him get away with it!

K. Kazuma

He's definitely the most affectionate of the group: long hugs, affectionate kisses, energetic pats on the back, cuddles are the order of the day

For him, physical affection is simply very important as a demonstration of love and care for someone

For example, he hugs you tightly when he's happy, although sometimes he doesn't realize how strong he's and the grip is almost too strong; or, very often, he holds your hand, even if you're at home

Often, in addition, if you've had a bad day, his first thought is to wrap you in a huge bear hug and stay there motionless in that position until you feel better

He's never been and will never be ashamed to be so affectionate: what's wrong with screaming with gestures he loves you?

Kurama

By nature he's very reserved, so are all his displays of affection: his cuddles are extremely delicate and so subtle and natural they don't even seem like cuddles

For example, it's completely normal for you to nap on his shoulder while he reads gently wrapping his arm around your shoulders

Furthermore, he's extremely attentive to your needs: his cuddles are sweet, his caresses slow and reassuring, and he does everything to make you feel calm, even if his arm was to twist because you fell asleep on it

He isn't ashamed of his affection -for him it's completely normal for two lovers to show affection to each other- even if obviously he doesn't flaunt it to the four winds

Youko, on the other hand, is much more possessive with his affection: for him it's a way of showing everyone you're his, so very often he drags you towards him to hug you

Hiei

No, absolutely not

Especially at the beginning of your relationship, he seems absolutely averse to any form of affection: do you want to hug him? He moves away. Do you try to kiss him? Be careful, because you might end up on the floor

Yet, as he begins to warm up to you, he'll start to appreciate your touch more, seeking it in a totally discreet way

After many months of relationship, in fact, you might find him sitting next to you while you watch a movie, with his shoulder brushing yours and his knee tapping rhythmically against yours

If you were to accidentally point out his growing affection, he'd pull away from you, pushing you away quite abruptly, and yet... "Hiei, is that a blush on your cheeks?"

If you didn't know, the saying "to flaunt something to the four winds" (sbandierare qualcosa ai quattro venti) is an Italian saying which means disclosing news, a confidence or a secret loudly, publicly and to as many people as possible. It's usually used when something that would be better kept confidential is made public.

I apologize for not posting anything for over two months, I've been incredibly busy with the end of the school year, juggling tests and preparing for Maturità (the Italian high school exit exam). Being a youkai, and since youkai often have particularly imaginative aspects, he wouldn't fully understand your possible inferiority complexes towards other girls

Indeed, don't expect him to always compliment you, rather it's better to say he never does so, but not because of malice: in his mentality the fact he's decided to be your partner already shows how much he loves you, including your body

If someone ever dares to make fun of you due to your body, he'll become a little more clingy than usual and mutter you're beautiful just the way you're (after threatening the person who insulted you)

Even if he doesn't show it often, he loves to hug you and bury his head in your stomach while lying on your legs

He almost never stays in that position because he feels embarrassed, since he loves your legs and resting his head on them is an action that relaxes him a lot; the few times he does so, though, if you pay close attention, maybe you can hear a very slight sigh of happiness and see a tiny, imperceptible smile on his face

Youko had been one of the most ruthless youkai: he had never had any humanity, he had never felt pity for anyone, he had never had qualms about getting what he had wanted.

Yet, there had been one person who had seemed to give him all the humanity he had never had.

(Y/N), indeed, had been the only one in the world he had ever loved.

The two had been living in complete symbiosis for centuries: despite being a youkai herself, she hadn't particularly appreciated his "work," thus he had scaled back his plans to make her happy and spend more time with her; she, in turn, had begun to teach him those human emotions he had always despised, which had nevertheless allowed him to improve his relationships with his subordinates.

However, everything had changed after the defeat of the bandit, who had been forced to take refuge in the human world, losing his beloved.

Throughout all the years he had grown in that frail human body, he had never stopped thinking about her, and he had kept counting the days until he would have been able to hug her again.

Nevertheless, everything had fallen apart after fourteen years of being trapped in Minamino Shuichi's body: when he had asked Hiei if he had known a youkai named (Y/N), he had replied she had been dead for a long time, killed when she had tried to cross the threshold which would have lead her to him, to the human world.

That night, Kurama hadn't slept a wink and, for the first time, Youko had cried. He had cried so much his mother had become worried about him, and for the first time her reassurances had been useless. Only that night he had realized the youkai had been truly what humans called a soulmate, the one who had completed him.

After about a year, the wound of his heart had slowly healed, thanks in part to his mother's love, but the emptiness he had felt was never completely filled: it was as if he were missing the half of himself which had allowed him to be happy, that half of (Y/N).

Thanks to his friends, he had tried to start living again, but the emptiness persisted, until one day.

He would remember it forever: it was a spring morning, warm in his classroom, and from the desk near the window, where he sat, he could see the cherry blossoms in the garden, which he found more interesting than the math teacher who was lecturing. Suddenly, though, the fox inside him began to stir, sensing a very familiar presence. He turned his gaze toward it, and his eyes met those of his former mate. Or rather, they were eyes very similar to hers, but different at the same time.

Who was she?

Was she a reincarnation of (Y/N)? It was definitely so, Youko had shown it with his attitude.

Did she remember him? Did she sense the youkai within him? Judging by the questioning look she had given him in response to the intensity of his gaze, it was unlikely.

That day, everything had changed. That day, he had decided he would stay by her side and protect her at all costs, while the void was filled by her presence the more they were together.

When she had met Shuichi's gaze, (Y/N) had felt a jolt of energy course through her.

She hadn't understood the exact reason, but she had felt incredibly drawn to him, and that attraction only grew stronger the more time they spent together.

"Shuichi, you know something I don't, right?" The girl asked him one day, when the two had just started dating.

The boy was sitting on the couch, his girlfriend next to him, enjoying the calm with her, his heart no longer feeling the painful, suffocating emptiness it had felt for a year.

"What are you saying, (Y/N)? I'm not hiding anything from you."

"Don't lie to me, I've noticed it for a while now." She said softly, without any reproach in her voice.

"I... -Kurama took a deep breath, taking her hands in his- Listen, this is a very complex situation to explain, and I... I-

"You don't feel like saying it, do you?" She interrupted him.

"No..."

"Okay, I understand -She murmured, causing him to roll his eyes, which he had lowered to their hands, to meet hers- I don't want you to feel obligated to speak. Just tell me one thing: is it serious? Should I be worried?"

"Absolutely not!" At first, he raised his voice, surprising her, but then lowered his tone: "In fact, it's a very good thing, at least on my part".

"I -He continued, after a few seconds during which silence had fallen between them- I don't want this secret to dampen our relationship."

"It won't ruin it: I trust you, I know you would never hurt me. You're a kind person, Shuichi." There it was again, (Y/N)'s personality, that attitude of someone who didn't see the evil in people, which reminded him so much of his beloved.

"You're too kind." He retorted, hugging her gently, tears almost falling down his face.

"Sometimes -He continued- I truly fear losing you. I don't think I could bear it a second time." The human decided to gloss over the last sentence, having noticed his state of mind.

She would ask him later.

"You won't lose me, Shuichi: I'll always stay with you, at least as long as you let me."

"Then stay forever: all I need is you. Nothing else matters."

For a few days, Hiei hadn't been able to stop thinking about something he had discussed with his girlfriend (Y/N).

He was on a mission, yet his mind, instead of thinking about tactics to defeat the youkai he and Kurama were chasing, was focused on marriage.

They had talked about it recently, when the girl had brought up the subject. He didn't understand though: why formalize the lifelong bond with someone like that? Wasn't it enough to do it in private?

Kurama had told him it was important to humans, but what was the point? He had already claimed her as his, and all the youkai knew she was his; the humans knew it too, since she often indulged in public displays of affection, so why?

He thought about that as he returned from his mission, which had lasted far too long for his liking due to his distraction.

"Hiei, you're back!" His thoughts were interrupted by his girlfriend, who dove into his arms.

"How did the mission go?"

Without answering her question, the youkai asked in turn: "Why is marriage so important to you?".

"I want to be in your life, if you'll let me -She replied without hesitation- I want me to officially be yours and you mine. For us, it's just like this..."

"I don't think I'll ever understand." Doubt crept into (Y/N)'s mind: what if...

"Don't... Don't you want to be with me forever?" She whispered, rousing his nerves.

"Don't be silly!" Hiei hated, hated when his girlfriend doubted his feelings.

Didn't she understand even the fact he always came back to her was a great sign of his love?

"You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, how could I not love you and want to spend my entire existence with you?!" The girl gasped as the youkai's eyes widened, fully realizing what he had said.

"I... I'm sorry, Hiei. I was so focused on human customs I didn't consider you. I'm sorry."

He sighed deeply, pulling her into a hug. That was always the pinnacle of Hiei's physical display -he gently grabbed her by the back of the head and pulled her gently against his shoulder-, and yet for her it was perfect.

"It's okay. I said what I wanted to say, and I'm glad you're no longer doubtful. You're annoying when you are."
