Cat Update
Okay i figured out i never posted an update on Zóio 's status and i have some news, and not all of them are good.
Tw Animal Death
I contacts his new owner at Monday asking how Zóio/Teodoro was doing and he told that by Friday morning he was very lethargic, wasn't eating and by noon he took him to the vet where he stayed was feeding from a tube since he had no interest in food or water and he was still slightly malnourished. Unfortunately he wasn't responding to any treatment and by Monday morning they decided the best option was euthanasia.
I thank everyone who helped any way you could, you have no idea the difference you made in his life. Thanks to you all, his last days was full of love and everything that could been provided, was.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sad that won't hear him meowing through the neighborhood but I'm happy that he wasn't alone. We had other strays that didn't make it but my biggest fear was being careless for a second for them to scape and we never find out what happened. But no, Zóio crossed the rainbow bridge with a full belly in a warm bed.
His new home was in the same vicinity of his owner's job and all his employees are also devastated.
I mentioned to some friends that i read (feel free to correct me if wrong) but cats are enlightened creatures and being reborn as a cat is a reward for a good past life and also your last reincarnation before reaching Nirvana. So Zóio is probably scratching his nails in Buddha's mediation cushion right now or playing with someone's Japamala while they pray (or try to ;v)
