Phantom Troupe driving HC’s because why not
Chrollo: actually a very good driver but hates to be the one driving
Nobunaga: drives like a fucking madman. Like he’ll get you where you’re going but you will be breaking so many traffic laws
Uvogin: assuming he can actually fit in the goddamn car he’s okay
Pakunoda: excellent driver, obeys all the traffic laws but does not tolerate backseat driving
Feitan: can’t reach the pedals
Machi: pretty good but prone to road rage or getting distracted by singing too loud
Franklin: same as Uvo but he’s quite competent
Phinks: holy road rage. Will absolutely chase someone down for cutting him off
Shizuku: lolololol fucking terrible, way way way too relaxed about it.
Shalnark: very good. But will very cheekily and subtly break traffic laws just for kicks
Hisoka: do not get into a car with this man.
Me in legends Z-A
"man we Must be in France because I keep hearing this WE when I'm doing all the fucking work here."
team flare nouveau fascinates me so much bc i think its one of the only takes ive seen that attempts to portray what cult members look like when they're out of the cult but not fully deprogrammed. there's a tragedy of them being raised into indoctrination, of there being an intially just purpose to team flare that quickly turned dark, and of being juuuust old enough to not be able to wipe your hands clean and say you had nothing to do with it.
like, it's clear grisham and griselle are in that wavering uncertainty where they can't admit their own wrongdoing because that would mean facing the fact that they spent years in the wrong. it's easier to throw blame on everyone else, on all of lumiose, on AZ, and even on Lysandre when they're at their most levelheaded. but they don't want to admit maybe they wasted years of their lives. a wasted youth. when grisham outright says it, it's a struggle to get there. part of them still wants to believe they and their parents would never, ever be duped by a truly heinous messiah figure, because they're not stupid, they're not dumb. the people they trusted had to have seemed trustworthy for a reason, right...?
but even lysandre calls their need to be saviors self serving and admits that he had a role in inducing those delusions in them. even the former cult leader says he's wrong and he made them develop terrible beliefs. it's fascinating! every ex member of team flare seems tormented by the fact that ultimately they are still culpable for their actions. it's such a unique position to take, one that doesn't fully forgive or condemn but takes a more nuanced middle ground. i never expected to see it from pokemon of all things.
flare fit check...?
