If you want good and varied worker placement games then I can recommend The Voyages of Marco Polo and Bruxelles! Marco Polo is pretty new, but it has great replay-ability. Bruxelles is not that well-known but it has some pretty cool mechanics.
If you like bluffing games I can recommend Sheriff of Nottingham. It’s a light, but fun game. When it comes to traitor games, then the best I’ve played so far must be Dead of Winter. Think The Walking Dead, but as a board game.
Spyfall is also pretty new, but it’s a short game that is loads of fun if you have a couple of people who’re good at lying. You all get a card with a same location you’re in, except for the spy, who doesn’t know where they are. The spy’s goal is to find out where they are. The rest needs to find out who the spy is. That happens by asking each other questions. As the spy you need to stay vague bcs you don’t want to give away that you don’t know where you are... The rest ought to ask questions and give answers that will earn them the trust of the other people, without giving away too much information! Ngl, it’s pretty stressful being a spy.
Ooh! I also recently played Mysterium, which is kind of a mix of Clue and Dixit. It’s a co-op where you try to solve a murder through surrealistic dreams you get from one player (the ghost).
I don’t have a lot of games myself, but luckily I have loads of friends who do :)
OH! One more. Star Realms is a really good deckbuilding game. Not like I’m an expert in that genre, but it’s a very addictive game and my friends and I are completely taken by it. The fact that you can also play it on your phone online helped tremendously.
