Star Wars Hunters (16/?)

Continued from Part 15.

Zaina's next Legendary costume is Correctional Officer, which sees her dressed as a New Republic Correctional Officer. These prison guards wear helmets similar to the Rebel Alliance fleet troopers and blue uniforms.

This role first appeared in The Mandalorian, Season 1, Episode 6, "The Prisoner" in the character of Lieutenant Lant Davan, portrayed by Anakin Skywalker's The Clone Wars voice actor, Matt Lanter.

The Aurebesh on Zaina's left leg reads "CC", presumably for the New Republic Correctional Corps. In fact, the game files refer to this costume as "Correctional Corps". You can also see the New Republic logo on her backpack.

The weapon wrap for this skin is called the Officer's Blaster. It's a BlasTech A-180 blaster like the one carried by Lieutenant Davan, but this version is accented with the colors of the New Republic insignia.

The next costume for Zaina is Outer Rim Marshal. This sees Zaina's hair marked with various grey streaks, and her uniform swapped with a classic Western gunslinger's look. She wears a large Rebel/New Republic symbol on her belt buckle. I'm not sure if this costume directly references anything.

The weapon wrap for this costume is the Marshall's Special. Yes that's a typo in the game, unless it belonged to a marshal named Marshall... I'm not sure if this is modeled after a blaster that appeared in anything, but if you can identify it, please let me know!

Next up for Zaina is the Private Veteran costume. This sees Zaina dressed as a member of the Rogue One team from Rogue One, specifically Corporal Jav Mefran, played by Game of Thrones cast member Francis Magee. The game files refer to this set as "Origins".

The costume descriptions reads:

"These clothes bring back memories - some enjoyable, some painful."

I wonder if this hints that she participated in the Battle of Scarif?

The weapon wrap for this costume, Private Blaster, resembles the DT-29 heavy blaster pistol, which also first appeared in Rogue One, but in the hands of Imperial Director Orson Krennic. Zaina's version has a shorter barrel however.

Zaina's next Legendary costume is Cloud Officer. This sees her as a member of the Bespin Wing Guard, the law enforcement of Cloud City from The Empire Strikes Back.

A few differences in her attire include the golden accents on her cap, which were more of a dark color on the original caps, and the embellishments on her shoulders. She also wears her jacket open unlike the guards in the film.

And on her back, there is a large golden representation of Cloud City with Aurebesh around it reading: BESPIN UNDERGROUND

The description for this costume reads:

"Cloud City is more of a tourist destination - my work for the Alliance didn't leave much time for recreation."

Coupled with the Aurebesh on her back, maybe this alludes to Zaina helping to liberate Cloud City (which we saw at the end of the Special Edition of Return of the Jedi), and could explain why she didn't fight at the Battle of Endor.

The weapon wrap for this costume is the Bespin Blaster. Gold plated over a blue handle, it doesn't look like the Relby-k23 used by the Wing Guard. If anyone recognizes this model, please let me know!

The weapon's description seems to present a different reason for Zaina's time on Bespin:

"Bespin? Yeah, I've been there once. Tibanna gas mining is not the safest, so the need for a medic was high."

This implies she was there to help the gas miners... but this could also possibly be a cover story for her exploits during the war?

Zaina's next Legendary costume is Bravo Squadmate. Here she dons the uniform of the Naboo Royal Space Fighter Corps. Bravo Squadron fought against the Trade Federation droid control ship Vuutun Palaa at the Battle of Naboo.

On her right leg and her backpack, she bears the symbol for the Royal House of Naboo.

The Bravo Blaster weapon wrap is an S-5 heavy blaster pistol carried by members of the Royal Naboo Security Forces in The Phantom Menace. They were most notably used in the ascension gun scene where Queen Amidala and her troops used them to scale the palace walls.

The wrap's description reads:

"I so admired Queen Amidala - I would have protected her with my life!"

This is yet another detail that leads me to believe she may be a native of the planet.

Zaina's final costume is Aurodium Bruiser. A palette swap of the Correctional Officer costume in black and gold, it features the outline of Balada the Hutt's Hypernova ship on the chest.

And instead of the Correctional Officer's New Republic symbol on her backpack, she wears the Hypernova silhouette there as well.

The final weapon wrap is the Aurodium Blaster. This resembles a bulkier version of the DH-17 blaster pistol plated in gold.

The set's name refers to aurodium, the Star Wars universe equivalent to gold. In fact, the name itself derives from gold's Latin name aurum, and the origin of its chemical symbol Au.

I think Zaina could possibly be the next Hunters character to most likely appear in other media thanks to her Rebel Alliance roots, and I hope so! I'd hate for these characters to be lost to obscurity.

Welcome everyone to the second round of The Hunger Games: Snake Edition!!!!

In honor of Year of the Snake, I decided to put the fictional snakes in the hunger games simulator again!

The districts are the same, save for Gary from the upcoming Zootopia 2 movie in place of Coby the Cobra

Just like last time, most of you have been chosen, a few just…happened to walk/slither in at the wrong time (*cough* Nofeet *cough* District3 *cough*)

Again, some of you may die, but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make!
