Bonjour à tous ! ♡ J’ai décidé de mettre mon blog de création graphique en hiatus jusqu’à nouvel ordre. 🥺 Je ne suis malheureusement plus autant motivée à grapher et à contribuer à la communauté que j’ai pu l’être, et prendre un peu de distance s’impose.

Il se peut que je continue de faire des ressources (icons, bannières, etc.) de temps à autre, mais les commandes resteront dorénavant fermées. Vous pouvez toujours retrouver mon travail sur penumbra (www), si jamais.

Dans tous les cas, je vous remercie de votre soutien dans les derniers mois/les dernières années. ♡ (J’ai passé les 600 followers il y a un mois, et ça m’a vraiment touchée 🥺♡♡)

Translator Notes:

Technically speaking, Zaja doesn’t say “this is nice” in the second panel - he just says Kore wa...!, which literally translates as “This is...!” Japanese speakers and writers often have a tendency to leave things off if they’re considered unnecessary to explicitly say in a way that doesn’t work if literally translated into English, so it’s sometimes necessary to fill in implied blanks in the language used when translating out of Japanese. Similarly, he says Fuuatsu ga...! in the last panel, which literally translates as “Wind pressure is...!" If you’ve ever seen English translations of Japanese stuff where someone just states a thing without saying what they’re actually trying to say, it was probably due to an overly literal translation of something like this.
