I like to think that Kanan and Hera have visited Zaluna once or twice as the years passed by.

I like to think that Kanan has made lighthearted jokes about how they both got blinded in pretty similar situations, sitting under Skelly’s tree, getting to experience her little home the way she did when she first arrived there.

I like to think Hera has told her all about the tight knit crew she’s taken in that she’s so incredibly proud of, despite being adamant on flying solo.

Idk. I just feel like Zal would have loved to see their dynamic and how well they’ve worked together to build something that’s a true testament to good things happening as the Empire runs rampant.

I like to imagine that when Kanan went blind he and Hera went to go visit Zaluna and like, Kanan would bump into a wall because he was still getting used to it and Zaluna just relentlessly makes fun of him.

also

a new dawn does have some genuinely charming moments (mostly how the the characters bounce off each other - Skelly, Zaluna, Hera, and Kanan when he’s being opportunistic on the run guy, as opposed to sexist douchebag guy) so its not like 100 percent bad. but i am also glad i didn’t spend money on it.

but a bunch of people w/ no connection to each other and different backgrounds and levels of training coming together to save the day is like.... 1 of my favorite tropes

Zaluna lost her eyes because of an explosion. Kanan told her that she could recover her sight with cybernetic eyes. 

Kanan got blinded by a lightsaber. 

Now, my question is : why is it impossible for him to get cybernetic eyes ? [like, is it just impossible or does he just don’t want his sight back ?]

I’m halfway through my cute little Zaluna fic I started last night. I really do love her and wish she had it in her to join the Rebellion.

She would have been such a good addition.
