Cetus Wall lamp at Maison et Object 2015 - This year we went with our partners from LUZZA to Maison et Object 2015. The beautiful Cetus wall brought a new fresh design to the brands at the stand, and it looked amazing on this wall with all this pictures. In the pictures you will also find the details of the Lyra table lamp. Did you see it? (bottom right) Great! More to come this year! Stay tuned.

The Light of Cetus
The common concept of Light we are all familiar with, is the part of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum that is visible to the human eye (referring to the frequencies between infrared and ultraviolet). There are a few concepts attached to visible light such as intensity reflexion, absorption that ultimately influence our sense of sight.
When designing a lamp one should take this into serious consideration. Not every lamp is supposed to illuminate an entire room, or to be especially for reading. Some lamps light beam is meant to reflect on the wall (reflexion wise, the color of that wall is very important), whilst other are supposed to illuminate a specific spot.
The Cetus lamp family is a different experiment.
It's meant create a memorable light beam that will allow different textures on the ambience.

Light is fundamental to our lives. It wakes us up in the morning and keeps us safe at night. But the world needs more light. Do you agree with Philips? We definitely do.
