(I can’t believe she’s even more complete now between the legendary amulet and the wings! Ultra Shiny! Fun fact, with the snow diamond infusion her skin changes its color based on the map and the light she’s in. Like an actual prismatic crystal. I’m in love.)

Zantelia

Ex Commander of the Pact Commander of Dragon's Watch Champion of Aurene My very first character, she follows the canonical commander story. After being left heartbroken by Trahearne's death, she dedicated her existence to Aurene, to the point her plant matter of her own body became pure crystal. When the dragon ascended, so did she, turning into a light being.

Zantelia - Pact Commander Champion of Aurene

"Saga has left us, Akseli now guides us as our new Commander, but we all know Zantelia will always be our Lady, our Guide.

At first we were confused about her change, crystal taking the place of plant matter and at the time we didn’t know enough about Aurene, yes, she was just a baby, but all Elder Dragons has been cooing little dragoling at one point.

We didn’t follow her because she was some kind of ascended messiah, before the Cchampion we knew the young, maybe too young, blue sylvari who had a smile for everyone and always blushed near our beloved Trahearne, the one who also never gave up, the one who guided us to victory with her firm voice.

I couldn’t even imagine what is like being born in a new world only to be thrown into an endless war the second after. We battled Zhaitan when she wasn’t even one year old. We fought Mordremoth when she was only three years old. She had no childhood, no time to learn about herself like any other mortal, and yet in her eyes, in her voice, in her heart there was only love for us and Tyria. She lost Trahearne, her soul mate. She died, only to come back to us because she would never abandon her people to dismay. She.... we all saw what happened to Aurene during the war against Kralkatorrik. But she never fell. She fought. And from one little blue sapling she blossomed into a Leader we’ll follow until the end.

“Duality of the Commanders”

A couple of old screens of Saga and Zantelia with (the whisper of) Jormag and Aurene. Something I truly love about my characters is that somehow they write their own destiny. I hardly plans things for them. And when i do somehow they’re able to ignore my will and take their own road. It’s interesting. Like, I wanted for Saga to be a good Commander, loyal to Zantelia, Aurene and Dragon’s Watch, to have a wholesome redeption arc after her life with Joko. And yet here she is, on the edge of becoming Jormag’s champion (let me say the fact the new story is called “Icebrood Saga” always made me laugh a lot and I’m pretty sure that Jormag on twitter helped a lot this change in her character)

Celebrative screen because it’s the first time I ever won something in a giveaway and I’M SO HAPPY! Zantelia looks like one of those mothers obsessed with their children to the point of wearing a tee with them printed on it. Since I won this during guild wars 2′s ArtShow a big thank you goes to @hubedihubbe who was drawing live! 15th September 2015! Have a 1 hour old Zantelia

9. Whats your favourite city?

Nghh I'm a sylvary at heart so the grove is my primary choice BUT RATA SUM IS PRETTY TOO DAMN

19. Is there a class you like the idea of but the gameplay doesn’t match up for you?

FREAKING MESMERS. I love the idea behind their design but in 3 years I haven't found a build that I like.
